Our families experience

Atria Woodlands review
Well, we loved the staff. Absolutely love the chef and all the people that served our parents while they dined. I enjoyed the fact that we were allowed to eat with them and pay [fee removed] a person to sit there and have lunch or dinner with our parents. We can't do that now. I loved the apartment which was absolutely stunning and filled with light. What they have now is just depressing. And most of all we love [name removed] the general manager I believe that was his title. He was available to us all the time with any question that we may have. Every person treated us with respect and seemed happy to be there. That's not what we have now. It's a shame that our parents did not listen to us because they are not in a place that we like to visit. They are not at Atria

Every morning I wake up in gratitude that we moved to Atria Woodlands from another facility. The meals are very good quality. The wait staff accommodates on quest, making things without cheese and entrees without sauces. The medication management is superb, and they remember and bring meds down when we forget. The laundry is done Tuesday night, so you don't have to scramble for clothes or laundry. The drivers take you to local doctors. Love it!

We picked this community because of the, proximity and ability to shift to memory care at same location if ever needed. So far, very positive and good interactions with the affiliated medical team. I feel mom is getting the attention she needs and it takes a lot of maintenance off of my shoulders.

Excellent
My husband and I were given a tour of the facility as we hope my brother would be able to come here to live in the independent living area.
We were very impressed with the grounds, the rooms, and the common areas. All were neat, clean, and inviting. The residents seemed well cared for. The daily menu looked quite appetizing, and the schedule of events that day looked interesting.
Our tour guide was informative and explanatory and seemed to have a lovely relationship with everyone he spoke to. An excellent experience!

Review for Atria Woodlands
We picked this community, because they had independent living and it's only 10 minutes from my home. Other places nearby only had assisted living. I would tell people to look around and talk to current residents to get their thoughts. My loved one told me long-time residents said the place went downhill after Covid. It was much better pre-2020.

We feel so lucky to have had the Atria Woodlands close by to me and my sister. They have delivered on everything possible to make life for our 94 year old mother comfortable and safe. We have absolutely no complaints! Just a suggestion…. use their doctors and service providers who are on site and make life sooooo much easier for the resident and the resident’s family.

Great place for our mother
Atria has made us feel much, much better about our mom's situation. We brought her there because we were worried about her mobility and cognitive abilities. The staff has been really friendly--we met a couple who said they had been working there for more than 10 years--and attentive to Mom's needs. The food, she says, is often very good, and if she doesn't like what's on the menu, they'll cheerfully make her something else. I wish the apartments were just a bit bigger, but hers is bright and pleasant, well maintained. Most important, Mom seems happier and more lucid than she did when she was living on her own.

Very Smooth Transition from Home to Atria
I’m giving Atria Woodlands 5 stars for the help and support they’ve given my 95-year-old mother-in-law during the critical time of transition from her own home. So many friendly Atria faces came by during her first few hours there…As her immediate family, we felt very reassured that “we’d come to the right place.”
I’m also glad to report that the couple of minor maintenance issues we noticed during the move-in were handled quickly and effectively.
My mother-in-law was understandably anxious about the move, but she’s now telling friends on the phone that her apartment is “beautiful,” and that she’s “very comfortable.” It’s also a testament to the place that her assigned aide has been there about 15 years.
She’s only been at Atria a couple of weeks, but so far, so good.

This is a beautiful community. The campus is perfect for the most independent person to someone who needs Memory Care.

Atria Woodlands is a good place. The staff are very kind, caring, and attentive to the family and our loved one. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.
Housekeeping, changing of linens, care, the room, utilities, transportation, nursing, and laundry are included in the monthly fee.
The community doesn't recommend the residents to have TVs in their rooms. They would prefer the residents be able to socialize with other community members.
There are also a lot of activities for the residents to choose from.

We chose Atria mainly due to the convenient location for family, my sister lives very close by. They told us that all residents and staff are vaccinated which was very impressive to us, they have been great throughout the pandemic. I would recommend them to others looking.

My dad had dementia and we were paying for the highest level of care with around the clock nurses. Every time we visited my Dad, he was in a soiled diaper. I asked to look at the call logs. He actually only called when wet or thirsty. The nurses are supposed to answer within five minutes, yet when they finally let me see the call log, there were times where it took over a half hour to get to him. I asked the nurses why it takes so long to help him, especially since we paid upward of [amount removed] a month, and one nurse cried to me that they don’t hire enough nurses to save money and they are always short staffed! One night we get a call that my dad slipped in the shower. They claim that he undressed and went into the shower himself! Complete lie as there was physically no way he could have. He was lying naked and alone in the shower with broken ribs. After rehab the Atria tells us he can’t come back because he requires too much care but they charge us for the rest of the month, over [amount removed].
