Spring Haven Retirement is really nice up front until you are there and then the communication is not good. It was priced high considering the lack of renovations. The carpet is very dirty and the food is not balanced meals. They did not switch up the activities here. You can tell maintenance has not been done on the building.

Hi! I'm Katie at Holiday Retirement's Home Office. Thank you SO MUCH for those kind words! We want all of our residents to feel engaged, welcome, and safe, so comments like this really make our efforts worthwhile. I sent your review to Spring Haven's team as a kudos. Thanks again, Katie
As a resident, I have found that the facility does not execute its plan very well. As a whole the staff is very friendly, but limited in what they accomplish. For one thing, they are understaffed. For another thing, they are very inconsistent in how they implement their activities. They often run out of the food that is listed on the daily menu. That is not to say that they don't have food, but they don't have the food advertised for everybody. Two meals are buffet style and you often stand in line for 20 plus minutes. The evening (4 PM) meal is sit-down and you often wait 20 plus minutes to be served. Sometimes over 30 minutes. Complementary transportation 3 days a week for the doctors, which is great. However, if you ask the right person, you can also get transportation to the local drug store. If you ask a different person, they tell you that they don't do that. Again, consistency is not their strong point. They do have a variety of activities, but those scheduled activities are often cancelled for no stated reason without notice.
