The staff is very helpful and has assisted in a multitude of ways. While the housekeeping staff is pleasant, the housekeeper who has been assigned to my apartment is not quite as efficient and thorough as others who have cleaned my apartment. Sometimes the food is not real warm when we are served. I did mention this to the supervisor who said I was not the only one who had told her and that it would be addressed. It is not the servers but the kitchen staff who is to blame. Since I spoke with the supervisor, the temperature of the food has improved. The elevator doors have what appears to be dried liquids on them. and the halls and elevators should be swept regularly. Overall, I am happy that I am here as I have heard many complaints from those who have moved from another facility.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
Lake Gibson Village is a true blessing for my Mom. She is active, happy and well cared for. My mom had open heart surgery in December 2018. After her hospital stay, we moved her into an assisted living place because she needed medicine management. She was still quite active but the place she moved into did not offer much and she became depressed. That's when we found Lake Gibson Village and moved her in May. What a difference! Everyone is active, there is so much to do and the people that work there are warm and caring. AND is actually less expensive than the other place! My mom now does water aerobics, plays cards, shops, goes on trips, attends movie night and joined the Red Hats. Her apartment is beautiful and everything is so clean, beautiful and well maintained. Even the food is fabulous! They have a trained chef preparing meals and everything is fresh and very good. We are all very grateful that we found Lake Gibson village.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
This is a beautiful facility. The staff, and overall atmosphere was very positive. We were very impressed with the quality and size of the room options. There seemed to be enough activity to please any guest. Even though we didn't sample the food, the dining facility looked amazing.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
