I've been very satisfied. I have been so pleased, I can't tell you how pleased I've been. I'm a retired nurse, so I'm familiar with good and bad nursing care, and they're fantastic. They try their best to keep things clean, it's an older facility. My sister is very social and she enjoys having the option to go to the dining room, and the food is better than at her group home. When I ask questions, I get answers, but it can take a little longer than I'd like.... Read more

Worst place ever!!

A disgusting dirty place. They drug the patients so they don't have to deal with them. We've heard staff yell at patients to SHUT UP when they are yelling out to them or the just simply IGNORE them for long periods of time. Absolutely deplorable. No clue how they are still in existence.

Horrible place

My grandmother was a resident last year for almost 3 months. While she was there the center flooded on 3 separate occasions in a different wing. There was actual sewage on the floor in resident's rooms! Residents in the affected rooms were forced to stay in their rooms during the times it happened. It was absolutely disgusting. They are also always severely short staffed on both nurses and aides. Everyone is nice but it's really sad when your loved one is sent to recover and you have to be there constantly to make sure they get their meds on time--my grandma had a broken femur and as a result was in extreme pain when they missed her doses. Towards the end of her stay they also missed her heart rate increasing to a dangerous level and we had to threaten to call 911 ourselves because they were waiting for the "on call doctor" to call back and confirm she needed to go. It had already been 2 hours since they had called the doctor when we arrived for our visit. She was visibly struggling to breathe. After threatening to call ourselves they finally called. We made our family doctor discharge her home afterwards and not back to the center because there was no way we were sending her back and he agreed that she should not go back. I honestly have no idea how they have a great Medicare rating after everything that we saw during her time there. I know every place has problems, but this place is just unacceptable. I'd never suggest it to anyone!
