I Trust This Community With My Daddy
The community found my loved one a dog to adopt, to help engage my loved one into the community.
Seasons Place has been checking on my loved one due to an ailment currently every 30 minutes. The community is even taking my loved one's dog out and caring for the dog on their behalf.
This community is one that I trust. This says a whole lot. They are pricey, but they are good.
About the facility Seasons Place
Nestled in the heart of the Greenbrier Valley, Seasons Place, is an Inspirit Senior Living assisted and independent living community near the Allegheny Mountains. We are located near downtown Lewisburg, West Virginia, recently voted 'America's Coolest Small Town'. Our small town is well known for its low crime rate, live theater, ample outdoor activities, and award-winning galleries.
At Seasons Place we are committed to maintaining independence and instilling a high quality of life for all of our residents. We have compassionate care staff who are always available as well as a 24 hour emergency alert and response system to keep our community safe and secure. Residents enjoy a variety of services and amenities which include:

Not the same place at all
There have been significant changes in the management governing this facility. A year ago I would have highly recommended this facility, but I can no longer do that. I regret my decision. The facility is only as good as its leadership and poor management affects the morale of staff and residents. This facility has become stressed under the new leadership from the way the phone is answered all the way through care plans. If you are reading this, you are getting ready to make a huge decision. The stress doesn't end with placement of your loved one. If your loved one becomes angry and distanced from you, you are depending on the people to keep you informed. I hope to be able to say good things about this facility again if management is improved.

Seasons Place
The care giving staff was always cleaning, even though that wasn't technically their job. The staff was great. The management would go around and visit the residents at random. Generally, the care was good, although towards the end of my mother's care they seemed a little overwhelmed. It seemed like the more acute care was difficult for them. The food was good; general cafeteria food. The activities could have been a little better, but overall they were ok.

Top quality
I had to choose this community because it was either here or somewhere 45 minutes away. What I really like is that they went above and beyond to get my Aunt in here within the week. She absolutely loves this community. The staff treats her wonderfully and they keep the best level of communication with her. Anytime she needs something all she has to do is open her door and look down the hall. There is always someone there to help her. My Aunt says the food is wonderful and the staff makes sure that she eats all 3 meals and goes to snack time. They have a variety of things and even though I haven’t tried any of the food, it looks really good. The facility is always clean, the staff cleans her room every other day, and they do her laundry for her. For activities, they do offer bingo, corn hole, singing, and they have entertainment come in too. There is always something for my Aunt to do. The reason why I gave a 4.5 is because we’re trying to find someone to go with her to her doctor appointments. With my line of work, I can’t keep taking off to take her. But, the staff is working with me currently to help resolve this issue. I would absolutely recommend this facility.
