Response from Pueblo Norte Senior Living Community
October 18, 2023Ralph & Hanna, we're glad your daughter found us and that after exploring Pueblo Norte you decided to make this your new home -- and are honored to know that you consider that the best decision you've made!
This is resort living, not the retirement feeling. The real Home Feeling. The staff is truly the best they all go above and beyond. The transportation is superb. I love my housekeeper [name removed] she is so kind. The best decision I have made

Response from Pueblo Norte Senior Living Community
October 18, 2023Thanks for your lovely review Susan. We love having you here and appreciate your kind words for our team and your special recognition of your housekeeper.
Pueblo Norte gave us a great tour. Super friendly staff and it was very thorough. They gave packets with all the details, prices, menus, amenities. It was a very nice place but we just felt another facility we had seen previously would be a better fit for our loved one.
Response from Pueblo Norte Senior Living Community
July 14, 2023Thanks for taking the time to visit us and share your thoughts. We're glad to read you were impressed by the community and team, and had a great tour, Best wishes to your loved one and please keep us in mind if your needs change.
I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Mom. I thought it was pretty expensive, but the upside of the community would’ve been that if my Mom needed long-term care, she would’ve had a spot. The layout of the building is very spread out and there would’ve been a lot of walking around, which I thought would be too overwhelming for her. The staff was very helpful and had higher caliber staff members, like RNs and more experienced aids. Overall, it was a nice facility but it just didn’t fit our needs.

I have no complaints of how things are going for my self since I have moved into this community. The staff have been helpful and attentive to all my needs. I like the different activities they have for all of the residents as well as my dinning experience with the other residents. I am overall very happy with my move and would recommend it to anyone interested.

I have no complaints about the tour I had taken of this tour for my loved one. The staff where all very friendly and made sure to give lots of great information of everything they had to offer. I was impressed with this location and thought they had luxury living environment. It was just not the right price for my sibling in her budget with the end decision.

I toured this community for the care of my father. They did not have the type of care that I wanted. The equipment was old and not updated. The tour did not show us a lot of what we were looking for.We did like the staff who did answer our questions. We suggest that families tour the community for the care of a loved one.

The Pueblo Norte did not meet our expectations. The rooms were very small. We did not like the culture. We ended up deciding on another community that fit my father's needs.

I am very happy with the care that I receive here. The staff is very friendly and caring to my needs. The community is always clean and well maintained. I do like the meals that are served and they offer a good variety. There are activities ,but I think that they need to include more. I do highly recommend this community to friends for good care and value.

My mother is in the process of transitioning to the community of Pueblo Norte. So far, we have taken a tour of the community and thought it was a very nice place with a good layout. The tour guide mentioned some of the activities that they offered. There are many activities like art, stretching, and trivia classes. I would definitely recommend a tour of this community it was very nice.

This community does not have air conditioned hallways for the residents to move from building to building. They have to take a golf cart to get to the cafeteria. They also do not have a dining area like a restaurant it is cafeteria style.

I wanted to see how this community operates so I called to schedule a tour. I was unable to get a hold of any staff and I felt we were playing phone tag by the end. I feel they could have done better trying to communicate but overall I was not happy with the beginning interaction.

Response from Pueblo Norte Senior Living Community
January 31, 2017Thank you for your feedback, as much as we respect your opinion, we would love to invite you back and see if we change it. We would love to have you join us for lunch at the community, please schedule a tour by visiting our website: [removed] or calling the community directly at: [removed]. We believe there is much to be discovered at Pueblo Norte and we will do everything we can to showcase it properly this time.
On my tour through this community, I didn't quite understand the layout. The community seem enclosed and not very open. There is a shower hall that seemed to be shared by residents. For lunch I was given a sandwich that looked as if it was prepared some where else, it was good but not quite fresh. The staff is very friendly and overall the community was too different and not like other retirement communities I have seen.

My Dad came to live with me after my mother died. Well, I don't have to say more. After seven months we looked for an independent living facility that would take care for Dad should he need more help. I visited several facilities and they were all impressive. But what stood out about Pueblo Norte is that they really got to meet and spend time with my Dad, work with him and give him the personal touch that made him feel welcome when he finally got there.

The staff is very caring and attentive when it comes to the residents needs. The facility is nice and spacious. The food and the food service is okay, but could be better. The level of care here is amazing though!

It is not fair for me to give a lot of judgment because I only see my loved ones twice a year, which is a good thing because they take good care of my parents. They are independent living, and the place is very responsive whenever the residents push the call-button.

I am very fond of Pueblo Norte because they provide a wide range of services. They have a dining hall and beauty salon on-site. They also offer transportation for the residents. They could stand to do a little re-painting of the exterior and improve a little on the food quality.

My mother is still new at the facility but it's gone fairly well so far. I would say that some signs to find the dining room at night would be a big help. One night, my mother wasn't able to find the dining room, she got lost and in turn didn't get to eat dinner. Signs on the ground floor to locate things would be very helpful.

It took me a little while to get settled in and used to things here at Pueblo Norte Senior Living, but since I have everything is going fine and I am good.
