please seek other communities for your family member.

Don't go to this community. We had constant problems. The food was gross, the communication was not between the staff and the family and the staff in general. They had an issue with keeping up with medications and often didn't give them. I would not recommend this community to others.

Nice community

It is a very attractive facility. The staff seem to care about the residents and they seem to be well staffed. I chose this community because after visiting several others, I liked this one the best and it was close to home. I would recommend this community to other families.

This was our second choice. Probably the friendliest. Staff appear to be most successful in keeping clients open and engaged. Client services are more expensive here than other places we checked. Total cost (room, board, and services) among the highest.

Good communication from the staff

My Mom has been here for about a month and a half and things seem to be going well enough. It’s been a bit of a transition, but the staff has been very patient and anytime I have any questions or concerns they’re able to address those in a good amount of time. There’s really good communication back and forth. The dining area always smells wonderful and the menu looks like it has some pretty good options. The facility will take the residents out once a week to do some site seeing or take them to the store and they have a monthly calendar filled with planned events that everyone can participate in.

A tour for mom's care

We toured this community for my mom's care. We did not like this location for my brother and I could get it is needed. The community was not as lively for my mom. The community is classy. We liked the lunch that we had. They do offer. We would suggest that families tour

Clean Property!!

I have no complaint of how things went for my loved one and our tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them. I liked how clean everything was and the open floor plan. It was just not the right fit for us in the end decision.

Good community

Powell Valley Assisted Living & Memory Care was a very nice and clean community that we toured. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We chose another community due to the price was too high for our budget.

This is an outstanding community. The staff is caring and attentive to my parent's needs. The menu is very good and they like the variety of healthy meals and flexible meal times. The community needs to make sure that prescribed medications are always available for when needed. The facility and surrounding grounds are clean and well maintained. There are many activities and local shopping trips are available.

Older community but well-maintained

Powell Valley is an older community but still very nice. The people were very kind and welcoming.
