My father has been at Plum Creek for some time now. The atmosphere is wonderful.
The staff care , the place is always clean and smells good.
There is always something going on every time I go.
So glad I made the right decision for my father!

Recommend. Good staff-to-resident ratio, friendly very friendly workers who seem to genuine care about patients. I felt reassured by the way the staff treated my father that he was going to be well taken care of while he was there. Really grateful for their kindness and professionalism. We picked thiscommunity, because of the price, and staff-to-resident ratio.

Great staff, would highly recommend.
[name removed] who works as "Community Relations" and [name removed] who is the "Head Nurse," were awesome. They answered all of our questions and were very helpful. We are there every other day and the place is always clean and well kept. I have never had a problem with any of the staff. They are always friendly and ready to help. They provide excellent quality care. Our mother is well taken care of and treated with respect. I have been there when they have served meals and was impressed with the quality of the food. Our mother has no complaints. [name removed] is diligent and very good about visiting all of the residents to let them now all of the activities that are provided and encouraging them to participate. Compared to everything else me and my 3 siblings. Plum Creek Place is great value for the money.

Home
My loved one seems to like all of the activities. We picked because the lady from APFM gave us a few places, and they had a locked door policy for getting in and out, which gave us a real sense of security. The courtyard is exceptional and there is more interaction going on with the residents. It felt more like home. Also, my loved made a lot of friends within the first few days.

I can tell you about the terrible experiences I had with them from
1. Chef was in jail & cereal given out
2. Blood sugar was over 500 and a cinnamon roll with icing given to her.
3. Room was not cleaned for 5 days when she was in isolation after contracting covid in the facility,
4. Brought into ER with blue arms & black fingernails in hyperthermia.
I hope & pray that no one has to experience this terrible experience. The facility never reached out to me after they sent my mom to ER. No one ever visited with me when I moved her stuff out of there. It was so upsetting that no one would even make a phone call to see how she was!

Tour of Plum Creek Place
I toured Plum Creek Place and the community was very nice and nice looking. The people were very nice as well. We were looking for something a bit more independent. We chose another community because Plum Creek Place was a bit too nursing home-like. Although the rooms were fairly new, I noticed hospital beds in the rooms.

Tour experience
We really liked what we saw from Plum Creek Place. It was very nice and clean and the staff were super accommodating. The girl that we were working with bent over backwards to help us and try to get the price where it needed to be so that way my loved one could move in. We were very impressed with them.

Compassionate Care
They treated my loved one and us like family. When he passed, he had a dog with him. And they offered to keep the dog when we didn't have a place for him. I gave him to a friend who was unable to keep him, and Plum Creek Place took him in. They called immediately when there was any distress or trouble with my loved one. I thought the facility looked good overall. The courtyards could have been a little more inviting, but then it was Wintertime when we were there.

A Good Place for Your Loved One To Go To
The community is having trouble with getting staff and keeping them, like any other organization right now. The aides are doing their best in getting to all the residents the best they can. Everyone is friendly and helpful to the residents and family. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.
There is an outside agency for therapy that works with the community to assist my loved one. They do a good job in helping my loved one. The medication distribution has been good during my loved one's stay.
The food is good. I know when my loved one first arrived, they didn't have a cook. The staff were having to help cook; however, they now have a cook and they do a great job. My loved one thinks the food is good and tastes well.
Some of the activities that are available are bingo, exercise, games, and more for the residents to choose from. There is a new activities director that just started.

Responsive Staff and Easy to Work With
The community was responsive to any questions or concerns I had. The staff are prompt in what they did. During the short stay my loved one was cared well for. The community works well with hospice care.

Very nice place. People were friendly. Didn’t like the fact that you have to provide your own cable and Internet. That should be covered by the rent. The place we found also has a door in the apartment that led to the courtyard.
