My Mother-in-law moved in very recently, but seems to be adjusting very well, and is very happy. This is extremely significant, because she really resisted moving into Assisted Living. Her rooms are very nice; the facility is of modest size, but warm and friendly; the staff and the services they provide are superb. We are able to work very effectively with the staff from a distance, which is vital to us, because nearest family is 400 miles away. We're in the loop, and the staff has made us part of her care team. We are so grateful!! And she sounds absolutely chipper!!... Read more
It is the goal of The Pines staff to help each resident achieve maximum independence, yet provide assistance for a confident lifestyle. Staff is attuned to the changing needs and interests of residents and makes a point to share that information with families at regular scheduled Family Service Conferences.
By having an independent Home Health Care Agency on site, The Pines is able to provide professional caregivers on site 24-hours a day. Not all people who live at the Pines need health care services. Individual plans are designed to accommodate the specific needs of each resident to support health and dignity.
Total monthly costs depend on room type, select services, and the level of care needed.
*Prices quoted are monthly rental charges and are provided by the communities themselves. Actual prices may differ due to one-time fees, timing and care services required. Speak with your Senior Living Advisor to learn more.

If you do not need any assistance and are self sufficient, it is a great place. If you need more care they do not seem to be very good about that, at least that is my impression so far. The parking for visitors is virtually non-existent and there is very little parking near by. If you are able to get to them, they seem to have pretty good activities provided. The food also looks to be pretty good as well.
We are in the learning curve stage. They have had some turnover in staff and having a hard time hiring which I understand. The staff I have met have been very friendly and helpful. They do seem like they have a lot of activities available for residents to participate in. The only complaint I have is they have no parking lot for visitors. I would recommend them to others looking.

While my sister was at the Pines she often said how nice the facility was and that she liked it there very much. As her condition changed, the Pines did not have the extent of care she needed. She needed a memory care home.

May 9, 2018Thank you for sharing your experience at the Pines, and we so wish your sister could have stayed with us. However, there are many fine communities that provide memory care, and we are always happy to assist residents and families who need to locate them. --Kathy R., Director of Housing

I really enjoy The Pines. It is a very nice community. The staff are very friendly and caring. I have a wonderful apartment with a great view of the beautiful courtyard, as well as a screened-in porch. Before my husband passed away he loved living here. He loved the staff and the quality care he received during his short stay.

I have nothing but good things to say about The Pines. I have lived here 2 years. I love the activities that are offered. The one of the greatest things about The Pines is how caring & loving the staff are. they have always been there for me, especially w/ the passing of my husband. I cannot think of one bad thing to say about The Pines. I am proud to call this my home.

For what they were doing with assisted and independent living their expertise was there. They checked on my mom and monitored her, they went out of their way. They were awesome, if they had more memory care I would have left her there. We needed a memory care.
