My dad said, "I'll take it", after touring the facility and finding they had a room available. After a little over two months there, he has nothing but positive things to say about the facility, the people, the staff, the food, and the social opportunities. He is happy!

The staff members would be a five plus they were absolutely exceptional, and we think it was a good value for what you got. Our loved one was very happy there. The activities were great, he really enjoyed both the outdoor and indoor activities. He was in heaven there. When we first walked in to Park Regency it was just beautiful, it was warm, welcoming and felt like a resort.
My 96 year old friend has been living here for 2 years. Her husband passed away 6 months after they moved in. She debated on moving back to FC after he died but she says she just loves it here and really likes the residents and the staff so she decided to stay. I enjoy coming to visit her and am now working to move my father here.
Both my parents now live here. They are both doing well and have settled in easily. They enjoy the activities, the people, and the food. There have been a few miscommunications on my dad's meds and how they would be handled. This includes the meds my dad had prescribed before he moved in and the new meds he's been prescribed since he moved in. There needs to be better communication on what is expected from the resident and what is provided by the staff. There was also some misunderstanding when my mom moved in. Somehow, the staff thought she was coming from a rehab facility instead of coming from her home - fully independent. They kept wanting her to do further physical therapy. We're not sure where this false info came from. Also, my mom ended up with an ADA compatible apartment in which all of the counters are lower and there is less drawer space. My mom is 5'9" so the shorter counters don't work so well and we had to purchase/provide additional furniture with drawers. We were not informed prior to move in that it was an ADA compatible unit. We were just told that it was similar to my dad's which is not ADA compatible.
We looked at a lot of communities for my brother and this community had a smaller room and they wanted more money. The staff were good and professional for the tour.
My mother loves being here. The whole environment is very happy and cheerful. The staff is wonderful very nice and friendly. They keep the residents busy with all the activities and social events they have. The community is clean and bright very active. Mom says the food has improved greatly.
It is working out for my mom. She does gave to wait at times for assistance. More vegetables and salad is needed in the meals.
My grandfather has only lived there a week, however, he feels very comfortable at Park Regency and he likes the food. Food was an issue at the facility he lived in prior to moving. The building and his apartment are very clean and well kept. The people couldn't be more friendly and the services they provide are very helpful. The cost is reasonable, compared to other assisted living facilities. I would highly recommend this facility to others looking for a home for their loved ones.
We visited the Park Regency a couple of times when making our decision about where to place Mom. They were helpful and shared lots of information. It felt like there weren't any hidden things to know. The facility is nice and affordable. Loved the courtyard. It seemed like they would do their best to accommodate a vegetarian. The only turn-off was the front desk person who didn't look up for several seconds when I approached her to ask a question.
