Our experience with Paramount Senior Living has been really good so far, the director [name removed] has really helped us with the financial side of things when it comes to insurance. The nurses just pamper our loved one, they just love him and are always hugging on him and engaging him in conversation. We do see a lot of activities all the time which is great. Their meals could definitely use some improvement though. Our loved one is not a fan at all and sometimes the meals are served cold. They do have a separate menu the residents can order off of, but you have to order in advance and with our loved one having some memory loss maybe the staff could assist and remind him to check out that menu early in the week.... It's fairly clean. The manager did not disclose some information. I would not recommend to anyone. There was lack of communication, which was the biggest problem. They need to improve on their communcation, and the manager needs to develop a better attitude.

Our family had an in person tour and it was alright, we wanted to take pictures of the community for reference and we were not allowed to so we just did no get the best feeling.

I had really good, in depth conversation with the director of Paramount of some improvements that could be made and he totally agreed. For us, we felt the facility was too small and institutional feeling. Most of the rooms offered in memory care are shared. There was really no color on the walls or room for residents to move around.
Our family had an in person tour and the director was very nice and honest with us. However for our loved one it just was not the right vibe, it was a very busy atmosphere and very large. We wanted something a little smaller.
Our family had an in person tour and the sales team we met with were very nice, we saw a lot of rooms and got a lot of information but we did not really like the community itself. It seemed more institutional and like a nursing home.
I'd recommend it to other families. It's a small and friendly community. It's clean overall. When one of the apartments had roaches, they did take care of it when it was addressed with them. I wouldn't consider that an issue. They provide excellent care services. My loved one wishes they offered a selection of food. The plate is just served, as is. And it's a small plate with small servings. But most of the time it tastes okay. They do have quite a few activities. I think for all of these types of facilities that the cost is high, but Paramount is one of the less expensive places.

We toured with Paramount and everything was great. I just found a facility I was more comfortable with, but this was our second choice.
This facility was ok a bit worn due to age. The physical therapy room was just that a regular room with some equipment. The biggest surprise was the $3,000 deposit where other better places were $500.

With Covid restrictions easing up, we were able to have an on-site tour. I thought the building looked nice and was clean, but it just didn’t have the feeling of warmth and concern for the patients that we were looking for. It felt more institutional. Also, the location was not as nice. They were situated right behind a shopping center.
The tour went well, things were well organized and clean. The one bedroom unit looks like it would have the space we need.

A basic virtual tour. Saw a model apartment (both studio and one bedroom) - they look nice with plenty of space. Saw one of the activity rooms, but did not see dining area (resident were having meals). Scheduled an in-person tour to see facility in more detail. Overall, looks nice and services provided should meet needs.

Make sure you understand the pricing, the price we were quoted was not the same once we moved in. They could do more to do safe visiting during covid. As long you don't care about food quality then you might like this facility.

I checked out 7 or 8 other facilities and I ended up choosing Paramount Senior Living because it was very clean, everyone was friendly, and the rooms were very pleasant and good sized. It was all around just very attractive. I have eaten here one time, and the food was very good. I would and have recommend this facility because we have been very pleased with our experience here.

from what we have experience during this time with the community is that it is kept pretty clean, and our loved one is very happy at Paramount. They have done an amazing job keeping them engaged even during COVID. They have a lot of different games, a music corner where they can get up and dance. They have done a lot of things to keep their minds engaged as well, all while still maintaining social distancing. Our loved one also loves the staff members, she says they are all very kind and caring.

I would tell my friends that it would be pleasant to go to. The room for my loved one was needing to be cleaned more. There were ants in my loved one's room and the room was needed to be dusted for more. The food was just ok.

The day I dropped my loved on off, is the day that the community went on lock down. I wasn't able to go past the front desk. It is a friendly, professional community. My loved one is now back at home. My loved one wasn't happy there, and no reason just generally unhappy.

It took a while to get my mom to move to a community and it took a while to get her to leave her room then she started to enjoy the activities and socialization. Now she is back in her room so it is hard to go backward. But I understand they need to quarantine due to the virus. Expense is a big factor with all senior living, my mom has a studio room with no kitchen at all in her room. She also had some money taken from her purse. Activities were important in our decision so she could get the socialization she was not getting at home. She is getting assistance with showering and help in the morning to get going.
