Oakmont is very impressive. [Name removed], our tour person, was very knowledgeable and helpful . It's a little pricier than others but may be worth it. The building and grounds are excellent. Oakmont provides Assisted living and Memory care.
Aug, 2019 Our experience was not very good. Although my wife is essentially an Invalid and unable to walk, she was assessed as being acceptable in their facility. She has to be moved with a "patient" or "Hoya" lift. Their nurse said they would train their caregivers to operate the "lift". The training was inadequate and many caregiver didn't know how to properly set it up for correct positioning I had to assist many times. In addition, the caregivers are almost always running behind on rounds. We have had to wait over an hour at times after hitting the "call" button. In other words, their very high costs are not what we bargained for. I will give them a good rating on their dining room. The food is very good and well prepared. If we weren't always late for dining it would have been better as far as the service goes. In our situation, I could not recommend the care for assisted living. Lastly, I liked the staff and the facility itself which is 5 star.

Seemed to know how to correctly handle memory care. First impressions were great with the facility and staff.
I had recently taken a tour of this community for my loved one and I have no complaints of how things had went. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. They did a great job with the presentation and made sure to offer us a meal to try during our visit. It was overall a great place just not the right fit for my mother.
The staff have done a great job with my parent and they are great at communicating with us. When we visit we also get to talk with them. I am pleased with the services they are providing.
We toured this community for my father'.We needed a studio. The menu was appealing and activities would have been helpful for him to participate. The community I beautiful and clean. We liked the environment and the menu. We would recommend this community for other families.
Enjoyed meeting and speaking with [Removed], we first discussed what s my needs and concerns for placing my spouse.I toured the facility and was very impressed with the amenities, studio rooms, and care and support from the staff. The garden is not a locked area but they do have alarms and the monthly charge expensive.Over all I really pleased with the Memory Care Center.
My dad has been there about a month. I have found the staff to be friendly, helpful and positive. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
This community had so much to offer some of their activities included billiards lounge, a game room and a library. The location of it was good because it's around shopping centers and a church. The staff that i saw on my tour were attentive with me and acknowledged me as well.
