We picked this community, because of the numerous amenities that were listed such as weekly, laundry, and the cost and convenience to my sister, and my two nieces for visits. I'm satisfied I just wish that what they advertise they would follow through on. We're pretty much satisfied and thank everyone the staff the nurses they are absolutely great with my mother.... The staff are incredibly responsive to addressing any need or concern that you have. A key to this is their focus on staff retention. At this point with the state of healthcare, consistent, familiar and friendly staff are critical to developing trust with the residents. Morningside House of Friendship seems to be very focused on this objective. The staff were not rushed and really worked to build a rapport. Our Mom found the meals to be very good with a variety of choices throughout the week, including special event opportunities that included picnic fare, sundaes, milkshakes and really good ice cream. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

My family and loved one had a good experience with Morningside House of Friendship. The quality of care ranks the closest to home for our loved one. We are happy our loved one is here. Everyone is friendly. There are meals and activities provided to the residents. Overall, this is a community we would recommend to others for their loved ones.

The Stepping Stones area doesn't have the exercise program, however they do have a lot of music related activities. My loved one is in the one bedroom apartment here and it has plenty of space for what she needs. I would recommend Morningside House of Friendship to others looking.

It was less expensive than other places, and close to where I live. People living there seemed content. The main concern I have is that the personel needs training. My loved one needs a high level of care(which we pay for), and most people need instruction on what to do. They should be trained, but they're not.

Our experience has been wonderful! [name removed] and [name removed] are so warm and welcoming at the front desk and front office. [name removed] is the director of the memory care unit and is awesome! She is so easy to reach and discuss any concerns with. The nurses are all very caring and nice. They always have at least 2-3 if not more working a shift on mom's floor at a time. We truly are so happy A Place for Mom recommended Morningside for our Mom. It has been a wonderful fit when we were feeling like no such thing existed.

In my experience, the Memory care floor is not as clean, attentive, or professional as the other two floors, but this is new to me so I don't have another facility to compare.

The staff members at Morningside House get 10 +, they are so attentive from the director to the receptionist and house keeping which is much appreciated. They have great activities that also gets a 10+. The staff really give personalized care on all levels. The nursing team is phenomenal they give individualized custom care to not only our loved one but to our family. Tour was nice but cost was too expensive compared to other options.
I just finished three weeks of respite care at Morningside. It was a great opportunity to recover from a bad knee infection. The caregivers were very sweet and attentive. I got daily help with washing and dressing and other kinds of things that I might need. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for assisted living in Hanover area.

They were very easy and friendly to work with at this community. The staff were very nice and attentive and they really seemed to care about the residents that were in this community. My loved one was not able to participate but I did see a lot of activities going on around the community when I visited my loved one.

I don't think very highly of them. I only know Memory Care, and not Assisted Living. But the Memory Care unit I would not recommend. Some of the employees working in that unit did not even know what dementia was. So I would not recommend it at all.

We had a great tour with Morningside House. The facility was very nice but it was just not what we were looking for.
This is a run of the mill community for your loved one. Nothing special and nothing really bad about the community either.

Issues are addressed quickly and correctly. The staff is very attentive to the residents. The intake process was very easy, and the staff assisted with that process. I'm very comfortable with leaving my loved one there.

I just really applaud the entire team, I really do. They do a great job of keeping the families Involved in current situations, especially with the pandemic and everything. The community has a homey feel and not a facility feel. They decorate for every holiday, its very inviting. My loved one loves the food and activities, whenever I call she is busy.
My loved one is never hungry, never soiled, has clean laundry, and is kept very busy. We love the entire team there, they do an outstanding job.
The price here is fair and comparable for assisted living. My loved one is safe and comfortable here. Everybody has been very responsive supportive, and nice. She is enjoying the food, and the staff is engaging her in activities. They get her out of her room and engages with others.

A Place for Mom has scored Morningside House of Friendship 9.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
