I would tell friends that this is the place I would go back to. This is a smaller one story community with walking paths. The food was bland and not a good source of balanced meals. It was also repetitive.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
This looked like a nice clean community when I looked at it. The staff I met were nice and they seem to offer some nice activities. this community was just a little to expensive for memory care. There are cottages, each with 12 rooms. Residents have private rooms, which is very helpful. The set -up is conducive to inclusion in meals and activities. Many of the activities are in a Community Room building, which didn't work for our loved one.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
With smaller units in a cluster, I feel my Mom is getting plenty of attention and help. There is Always a staff member in-house, 24/7 Meals are very good, Mother raves all the time how much food is offered and how well-prepared. If you call a day ahead you can request to eat with your family member, no charge. Clergy comes Sunday to distribute Holy Communion. Many residents go out to the local churches. Facility owns a bus, so they can take residents shopping or out for a special meal. I have not met one staff member Yet who falls below my expectations, and we've been there 7 months. There's of course an up-charge for them to administer Mom's medications 4x a day but that is so totally worth it for her well-being, AND My Peace of Mind. All cottages are beautiful, fresh, very clean, with comfortable seating areas for families. Activities are bountiful, many of them can include families. If you haven't walked in and looked around yet, please do so - you will feel so much better about the decisions your family needs to make.Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
