The staff members and their care services are great, and compared to other communities in the area the price here is good. The meals sometimes are awesome and other times not so much, but overall they are good. The dining hall just reopened so we are excited for our loved one to finally experience that. This was a good community. My loved one wanted to be closer to their hometown in another state.

We find Magnolia Glen to be a fine place to live. We enjoy friendly, interesting residents at meals, activities, socials and on trips. Our laundry room is totally updated with the latest in modern washers and dryers. Associates take very good care of us. We are very happy to be living in this lovely place.
My mother chose Magnolia Glen after looking at many different facilities. She is happy she did. She really enjoys living there and says everyone is so welcoming and friendly.
Warm and welcoming community! I've worked with Magnolia Glen for years as a caregiver. The residents , associates, and families make each day so special. I highly recommend this community to anyone needing independent or assisted living.
My parents moved into Magnolia Glen about six months ago and have been so thankful they found such a wonderful place to call home. There is so much to do, they are always busy and have made so many friends there. They left their home after 30 years but the apartment was simplified by the caring team. The staff are amazing.
We called Magnolia Glen when realized that our mother could no longer live in her home. They have numerous in-house services to give her the extra support she needs including meal delivery to her apartment, daily check-ins and emergency response. They treat her like a valued member of this community and we can all breathe a sign of relief knowing she is safe and well taken care of. I would recommend Magnolia Glen with no reservations.
At Magnolia Glen we are living in a community of friendly, interesting residents and helpful, happy associates who take good care of us. Especially good food, socials, a variety of activities, up to date laundry facilities, transportation for sightseeing, concerts, local events, and necessities like groceries, banking, and appointments add to our quality of life.
I can not say enough amazing things about Magnolia Glen. The staff are so caring and encourage their associates to grow within the company. The residents are the absolute sweetest and the facility is always kept in tip-top shape as far as cleanliness. I have worked at Magnolia Glen for almost 6 years now and don't plan on leaving any time soon. The bonds we form with not only the residents, but with their loved ones are, in my opinion, the best part of the job.
We toured many retirement homes for my father and decided to go with Magnolia Glen due to the peaceful and serene feel of the property as soon as you drive into the community. We did not make an appointment but that staff quickly stopped what they were doing to take time to show us around. All the staff have since been extremely friendly and helpful. My Dad is very happy where he is at Magnolia Glen and enjoys everything the community has to offer.
Magnolia Glen is an amazing place to be. I feel like a family here.
This is an excellent place to live. The people are friendly and lookout for each other. The food is good for the most part and the associates are very helpful.
The community is well controlled. It is clean, quiet and peaceful. Residents are pleasant and a joy to be around. The planned activities are very appropriate and timely.
My father is in independent living in Magnolia Glen. We are very pleased with this place. The associates are wonderful and treat their residents exceptionally well. They are very friendly and kind. Known the resident by their name.
Our family had an in person tour and I thought it was wonderful, I really liked this community especially because they had a bar. However, my sister thought it was to big and did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling about it.
My parents arrived at Magnolia Glen last November. At least once a week my Mom makes a comment about how wonderful the people (residents and staff) are and how everyone is kind and caring. My parents are thriving. They feel safe and are happy to be part of such a fantastic community.
It is a nice option for assisted living. The family is following up with the staff for care needs for your loved one. Some of the food options don't accommodate all the dietary restrictions for low sodium diets.
The meals are not really catered to our loved one due to their health state, but for other residents we think they would be good. However, we do think they should have more southern breakfast variety, they get eggs and bacon everyday. We wish they would throw in some biscuits and gravy or even pancakes. The activities are still somewhat limited especially the church services. They have the Catholic services back up but we are still waiting on the Presbyterian services. The staff really stood out to us in the beginning, they seemed to really take a personal interest in our loved one.

I was very pleased with the community. I really thought the person that I dealt with initially was very nice, and went out of their way to help me. They are allowing visitors to see their loved ones.

Thank you, MJ! We appreciate you taking the time to leave your review.
My grandmother recently moved into Magnolia Glen and the amazingly caring staff have figured out how to keep residents safe while still engaged. The community recently held a 2 day fair outdoors that included food trucks, 6 live bands and entertainment. My grandmother had her very first funnel cake! Even during the uncertain times the team at Magnolia Glen has figured out how to facilitate safe interactions and activities to keep at their residents engaged and happy!
