Would Recommend Brookdale North Raleigh

I think they've been very friendly and helpful. Our loved one has only moved in relatively recently, so we'll see how things go. But so far everything has been good, and I would recommend them.

A great place for mom

We chose Brookdale North Raleigh because of the value for the money. She got a studio apartment for less that other places were charging and it is a very good size for her. The staff is very friendly and efficient and I would recommend them.

A great place for a loved one

The community does a great job with activities and they include the family in the activities (pre-covid). The staff gently cares and the residence is very friendly and enjoys each other. I would definitely recommend this community to others

Feels like family

We chose Brookdale North Raleigh because we thought it was a good match for the age of my father and what he is capable of and what his needs are. It is a little more care than independent living. They just had renovations done so there is a pool, beauty salon, nursing care, and physical therapy which is all on site, you rarely ever have to leave the facility. My favorite part about the facility is the ongoing weekly communication from the director. He sends out a newsletter every week of what is going on inside the community to keep all families in the loop. This place feels like family and I do not have to worry about my dad.

My mom is definitely happy

We chose this community because my mother wanted a pool and they have a pool here. The room sizes are pretty good, but it is enough for her. She does not care so much for the food, she says there is not a lot of seasoning and not a lot of variety on the menu. She has the option of fixing her own meals, but she does eat some of the meals provided here. The staff members are good at communicating. If anything is wrong they always call me right away and inform me of what is going on. They keep me in the loop and they send me emails on what is going on inside the community. I would absolutely recommend this community. I have actually thought about moving in this community with my mother.

Good community

Some activities they have for the residents are a full on art room, bingo, a cocktail night on Friday, when you could watch live singers and other entertainments. They also have a pool. Overall the activities are great. My mother thinks the food is really good. This community offers a variety of different rooms sizes.

Would recommend to a family or friend

Brookdale North is an independent living facility so there aren't to many care services provided. Sometimes if we ask them to help our loved one out they are more then willing to help her out, other times they don't seem to want to help. Due to COVID they don't have to many activities for the resident to participate. The food at this community is not as great as it should be.

I’ve lived here 3 months. Since moving in the staff has been wonderful. The only complaint I have is the slow service in the 2nd floor dining room. This is not the fault of the staff, but rather having to go up and down in the elevator for service makes it very slow.

This place was incredible. The amenities (in door pool, art room, dining room) were all great. They have a beautiful courtyard with walking trail. More residents (than any other facility)came up to us during the tour and told us that it was a wonderful place to live.
