I enjoyed the staff and the residents, but you could tell that the owners did not put much money back into the facility. It was pretty run down, with older furniture with rips and tears and poor lighting in the little common areas. The siding was green and needed to be power washed. The staff were very nice. Not a lot of activities compared to other communities.

Care for family

This is a nice community. The staff is caring to the residents. I like knowing that she is in a clean environment. The menu is good and she seems to be pleased with the variety. The activities are helpful to assist her with staying active. We would recommend this community for the excellent care and value.

We have been very pleased..

Overall we have been very pleased. The only thing that we are most disappointed in is the food. Everything else has been going great. My mom has adjusted. They do offer activities here. They have bingo, movies, and they walk around the park. I just wish they had more activities. The location is good. The Joy Assisted Living is a really good community. We are just really pleased with this community.
