Imagine a life where you can be as independent and active as you want, without having to worry about the many household chores waiting on your to-do list. At Maranatha Village — a community offering independent and assisted living services — we can help you do just that. Spend your day relaxing in our enclosed courtyard. Take advantage of our various on-site activities, or explore the greater Springfield area with its several parks, restaurants, and shopping centers.
Our community sits on 100 acres of land, filled with a variety of wildlife — almost like our own private nature reserve. Deer, geese, swans, and even turkeys are often spotted by residents overlooking the natural surroundings. You never know what you’ll stumble across on your daily walk. With lush, green lawns, walking paths, and a stocked lake all on campus, residents will never grow tired of the scenery.
At Maranatha Village, we strive to enable residents to maintain as much independence as possible; however, we also recognize that the aging process affects everyone in different ways. That is why our caregivers and skilled nurses take the time to get to know each resident as an individual before creating a personalized care...

My loved one does not participate in the activities but I know that there are a lot of them. This community is well worth the money. There is a beauty shop on site that they take the residents to, a community center and a fishing lake. They take the laundry once a week and everyone has been very helpful and nice with my loved one.
The quality of the housing seems to be very good. It's a new and updated facility, and the apartment size offerings are very good, especially given the price of the rent. The availability of activities has been pretty good, given Covid throwing a wrench in everything. But they're kind of lacking in their newsletter in getting the word out about activities. There seems to be a bit of a delay in the staff getting back to you. But anytime we're face to face with them, they're very friendly, and they have taken care of any issues we've had.
