There is no way I can say enough nice things about the folks at Bentley. The facility is lovely, but it is the staff that make Bentley the unique place it is. They are professional, experienced, and (best of all) genuinely kind. My 92-year-old mother lived ther during the last year of her life (she moved from a very new, very expensive, and pretty atrocious facility just outside of Athens where she most decidedly was not thriving), and the care she received in Bentley's Memory Care wing was absolutely first-rate. This summer she went into hospice and passed away at Bentley, and then too the whole staff and administration made a wrenching time far less difficult than it would have been had it not been for the staff's and administration's professionalism as well as their kindness and care. (Executive director [name removed] and Memory Care wing nurse [name removed], in particular, went *far* above and beyond what their jobs required; their compassion and generosity of spirit was truly humbling and overwhelming.) Suffice it to say that I recommend Bentley, with enthusiasm and deep gratitude, to anyone who loves their parents and wants them to receive exceptional care.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
This place is very understaffed . money hungry business residents don't get the care they pay for. The house keeping don't clean like they should, residents bathrooms are nasty. Over all this place is a joke!!!Reviewed on SeniorAdvisor.com
The care staff at Bentley is wonderful. Unfortunately, [removed]. We were told that my mother, who has Alzheimer's and congestive heart failure, could remain at Bentley until she died as long as she did not need skilled nursing care. Mother has lived there for two years, and she knows and loves the staff. She is in her fifth month of hospice care. The administration at Bentley has now told us that they can no longer care for Mother. They have given us 30 days to move her out. She will never recognize the staff at a new facility or recognize the facility itself. Moving her at this point is unnecessarily cruel.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
