We did a virtual tour with this community during Covid. The staff was very friendly and they answered all of our questions. The commuinity just didn't fit our needs at the time.
Facility was very nice. The patient centric culture came through very clearly with all of the staff. Emphasis was clearly on comfort and care of residents. Facility felt comfortable ‘ homey. [name removed] was exceptional. She was the difference.
Communication from the staff to our family is good. They send out a monthly newsletter and are good with retuned calls. The community has kept us up to date and well imformed. I would recommend this community to others.
I'm not able to get a hold of anyone in administration. I can leave a voicemail, but no one calls me back. They don't hold up their promises. I wouldn't send my loved one here again, since I haven't been happy with it. The community is understaffed.
We never really did see any issues with the cleanliness of the community. Our loved one did seem to enjoy the meals and dining, and they did offer a good amount of activities. However when our loved one moved in [date removed] they offered to put him on a medicaid wait list for a room. They said they never had a room available for him with the medicaid but we were never made aware of that. They changed management and the new managements excuse was always, "we do not know what the prior management agreed to." We thought within that year he was going to get the medicaid room, but the eventually forced him out and moved him into a long term facility, they gave us no options at all. When signed a 30 day notice in August, they told us to not worry about paying rent, but we had to pay two days into September on top of late fees they charged us.

I have been happy since day one.
Staff is good about introducing themselves. Make you feel like they are family and part of family. Facility clean. There are activities.
My mother in law [name removed] was in the Keepsake area and the staff was excellent. [Names removed] and all the staff was fantastic. They took care of her just like it was their mother or grandmother. [Name removed] passed away and they are all so special to us. [Names removed] thank you so much for loving her as we did. The activity Director thank you for the face time. It was very special to us. The Hearth was clean and it smelled like a hotel. I would highly recommend The Hearth and the staff God Bless You for all you do. [name removed] and [name removed]
