Hi my name is [name removed] I am a grand Villa Deerfield resident. There are many nice things about the community. Including the Food is good as well as the overall community of grand Villa is very good . One I would request is more entertainment. The people here are very nice and welcoming.
Aid that come out very helpful, staff is very open to everybody, [name removed] is amazing the night staff not so much, maintenance staff is wonderful he mentioned that [name removed] runs a very tight ship, he also mentioned that [name removed] is a wonderful cook and when he’s here the food is wonderful but besides that the staff seem very lazy when he is not here and the food is not up to par
Some of the staff members at Grand Villa like the aids are great, and the other staff members are not. This community keeps changing their mind on if we are allowed to see our loved ones and if we are not. The aids have been great, the other staff members do not treat the residents with the same respect. The last couple of weeks they have been slowly opening up activities, but for the last six months they have had nothing. The activities director is a very nice person and she is doing the best she can.
This community is pretty good and was usually very clean. The staff were pretty friendly. The care was adequate. The activities were pretty good until the Covid-19 pandemic hit and everything was locked down. The price at Grand Villa Of Deerfield Beach was a little higher compared to other communities in the area. We had trouble with them when we asked about a price reduction and they told me they would be able to do it if I gave them other prices from communities in the area in writing, however they ended up never getting back to me about it. We had a very similar experience with them getting back to me about insurance covering some of the care costs.
Ive been here almost 18 months. The place is immaculate! Everyone is helpful. Activities are great. They make it very easy for me to get to my doctor. I never have to worry about getting my medications on time and the management always listens to my concerns. [name removed]
[Name removed] provided a tour of the facility. I was most impressed with her and the other staff members who were all very energetic, upbeat and friendly. All staff members appeared to have a nice rapport withe the residents.
Excellent facility. Clean, organized, well staffed and well managed. Is affordable, clean, passes the smell test. Staff show caring and compassionate behavior. Very good facility.
The Grand Villa was the best of all of the tours..it was cozy and warm and sunny and seems to be the most welcoming of them all...I give it 5 stars. Staff was nice, the residents were friendly and sociable, the rooms are large enough and had enough natural light that once you get the furniture in it will look very comfortable..the place is laid out like a small "bed and breakfast" type place and has proximity to several shops and restaurants for outings..the costs were high but all inclusive, so no unexpected costs would be appearing.
[Name removed], the activity director, was very helpful. Gave me the tour of the facility and provided me with brochure. She answered my questions. Found the facility very nice, clean and residents seemed happy. Only draw back might be the lack of outside patio but I was told that it will be renovated soon.
Beautiful grounds and building. Apartments are beautiful and they have a beautiful private dining room for private parties. Lots of activities and all residents I encountered seemed very happy.
