Value for cost
We chose Glencroft because they were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be patient with us while we figured things out. Also, they are one of the few places in the area that have all levels of care in the same facility. That was attractive to us because we knew she would need more care eventually. The apartment sizes is very good, we were surprised by how roomy they were. They also redid them before she moved in so it was all clean and fresh. The only negative about the facility is that they have trouble keeping the elevators running, but when they were down security was helping residents go up and down the stairs. Overall I would recommend to others looking and already have.
Some of the thing that drew me in was that it is was all inclusive not a sliding scale, staff are really friendly and attentive, lots of personal attention. I would highly recommend.
This is a nice place to live. I would recommend this community to others for their loved ones. They have a nice outdoor atmosphere and staff here. The food can be mediocre for the residents. There are days that the food is pretty good.
Our family has had a positive experience so far. The community is clean, and the staff members are friendly. The meals are little to be desired, but the activities are good and the value for cost is good.
It is a nice and clean community. The memory care area caretakers are good. There is a visiting doctor that comes into the community. It would be nice to be able to speak to the doctor when we have questions over our loved one. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.
What I really like about this community is that it is ran like a business.
I would tell people to come on over. It's a good place, and I'm very comfortable here. They do a really good job with me and really look out for me. There are quite a few people I like to sit and talk with. The staff are beautiful people. They're very friendly, and every question I ask they already have the answer. They don't mind talking and explaining stuff to me. Housekeeping always comes on time and does a good job. There's no bugs, so I like that. I do most of my own cooking, but their food is okay. I like to go to the gym and do the arts and crafts, but mostly I just like to talk to the other people. We senior citizens have some stories to tell!
Our loved ones are currently on the independent living side, but if they ever need any assistance someone on the staff team comes immediately. The staff members are very sweet and friendly. Our loved ones think the meals are good, and we actually have been able to eat there a couple of times and we would have to agree. There are some activities going on, and we think the value for cost is very good.
We chose Glencroft because of the location it is very convenient for us and also it felt like a more comfortable environment that she would fit in well with. She is in a casida and it is very nice, it has plenty of storage and it is perfect for what she needs. They do provide house keeping every 2 weeks as well. The staff members are exceptional here, very friendly and attentive and as her family members, we have had no complaints. I would recommend them to others who are looking.
We chose Glencroft because everyone else was closed down and didn't provide anything and the were providing as much as they could during covid. Everyone has gotten their shots and they are opening back up. They have so many activities that she said that she can't keep up with them. She absolutely loves the food, they are chef prepared and they have 2 places where they can get their meals from. It is served restaurant style and you have a menu to choose from. It is a wonderful place I would definitely recommend to others looking.
The staff members have been really good, and the food started out really good but once the pandemic hit the quality declined dramatically. The representative we dealt with in the beginning was fabulous, and we really liked this community because the space that was made available for our loved ones in the independent living.
It is on a 40 acre campus. Everyone is so friendly. It is fabulous. The staff know everyone and they are easy to work with. The food is the best I've ever had. The casita we have and the patio is covered and very nice with a small backyard. The maintenance man is very nice and asks about if we need anything.
I chose Glencroft at the time because I just felt more at home here and it made a good impression. The apartment sizes are pretty big, they do have options on the sizes as well. It is a very homey, friendly place and I would recommend and already have.
