So far our family is very happy with them, they have taken great care of our loved one. In the beginning it was not easy, but now our loved one is extremely happy. She loves the food, and even for her 89th birthday, the staff team through her a birthday party. She also has a very nice room, the staff are very help and just overall excellent to work with.
My mother lived at this facility during the last few years of her life. I found the facilities to be bright and cheery, the food to be very good, and the caregivers to be excellent.
My 100 year-old mom has been living at Encino Terrace Senior Living for 1-1/2 years. Before I selected this home, I looked everywhere in this vicinity. I chose Encino Terrace because it was a smaller, home-like atmosphere, where I felt my mom could be well cared for. It has not disappointed. Not only does it feel like a home or hotel, but the staff is AMAZING. They are gentle, kind, professional, and there to help with all needs. Additionally, there are activities in which to participate all day, and 3 meals per day, which is good for socialization. I would recommend Atria Encino Terrace to anyone who is looking for a senior living environment for themselves or a loved one.
I have had a very good experience so far with Vintage Encino Hills. I'm pleased with everything they have to offer, and the community itself is nice looking, well kept, and clean. The only real issue I've had is some noise problems with a neighbor, which the staff are always happy to resolve when it comes up, but it would be much nicer if they could figure out a way to keep it from coming up in the first place.
hotel like, smelled funny, ice cream

I haven't been there for over a month now but I would rate it a complete 5 except for the last day that I was there. I had asked one of the med staff if they could send in a CNA to help me get some things from my closet that I wasn't able to get to very well and she said there was no one to help and she was busy. I know that they did an incident report from what resulted but I haven't even attempted to call the administration about it because the med tech person that had been so rude to me I used to consider so considerate and compassionate, up until that point everything was fine. Everything was clean and it didn't smell like a convalescent home or anything like that, the staff, especially Leslie, were very caring, the meals were very well planned, the chefs were just great, I got to know a couple of the residents and they're all very nice and just happy.
They have one of the biggest menu selections and variety at every meal plus an Ice Cream Social Room where you can get sandwiches, fruit, ice cream, popcorn, yogurt, snacks, etc. 24/7. And a salad bar with lunch and dinner. But am concerned about community fees and big price increases in the years to come.
Liked very mcuh. Very nice feeling, warm and friendly staff. Nicely decorated, clean. Nice set up, small community.
no memory care; balcony; no kitchen but they could give you a fridge/microwave; view of inner courtyard; good location small facility; nice 1 bdm, 2 bath around 600 sq ft; appears to have smaller number of activities
Family really liked both Inn on the Boulavard and the Courtyard Plaza! Both could be very good for Mom who has final say. She is stalling but liked both and saw how active she could be! Close to her doctors.
