Group activities, such as flower arranging and music therapy, are available to improve residents’ sense of serenity. We also schedule routine visits with local doctors to ensure that the ever-changing needs of each resident are met as quickly as possible.</p> <h3>Living Options</h3> <p>We currently offer private studio and one-bedroom apartments, as well as a few two-bedroom suites. Most rooms have either direct access to, or a balcony view of the gardens. Residents are encouraged to furnish rooms with their own belongings to give the new space a familiar sense of home.</p> <h3>Care Types Offered</h3> <p>The Gardens at Park Balboa is a <em>residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE)</em>, which in the state of California is a housing arrangement for persons 60 years or older where supervision and personal care is provided based on the needs of the residents. These facilities are also known as <em>assisted living facilities</em> and <em>board and care facilities</em>.
