Not enough staff and some staff do not care. Care in heartland is way below grade. Make sure you are there to care for your loves ones because they will notReviewed on A Place For Mom
We researched 6 local communities for our mom who is recovering from a stroke and has some mild dementia. Elmcroft is an attractive, well kept community and we are pleased to have our reluctant mom there. The staff is caring, competent and aware of their resident's needs. We can't say enough about how the staff keeps us notified as to mom's days and how they are going. They genuinely seem to love her, and she can be difficult. They have gone the extra mile to help us adjust to this situation and we really appreciate their understanding and comfort. Anyone who is placing a loved one in assisted living against their will, understands how difficult these decisions are to make and Elmcroft of Lorain has been with us every step of the way. We are very thankful for the care our mom has received. The food is good, the activities are all inclusive and well planned.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
We have not been able to step foot into this community, but from our understanding we believe everything is going good. We have seen our loved ones room through videos and it looks very good. We have spoke with the staff over the phone and they are nice, our loved one is happy there and she just loves it.Reviewed on A Place For Mom
