From the moment we walked into the community it is just so clean and the staff members have continued to be so friendly and professional. Right now due to the mandate protocols there are no group activities, but if there were no restrictions the activities would get 5 stars.

Dale Commons was a very nice facility and seemed like a good place, it was just way out of our price range.
I would say keep looking. My mom did not have a good experience, but others that we talked to did. Given what's available in the area, I would say they're the best bet. The public areas are very clean, but the private rooms are less so. They did okay with the care, but they just kept adding costs on to everything, and that got very frustrating for me. The staff are very nice. The food was good. But the activities were geared more toward more fully abled people who aren't quite reedy for assisted living yet.

Our loved one was only there for about a month, but during her stay she absolutely loved the meals and dining service. They really accepted our loved one very warmly, they did a great job making her feeling comfortable at first and letting her adjust at her own pace. At meal time they would make sure to sit her a table with other residents that had similar personalities. I was about an hour away but that did not matter because they kept up great communication with me. On a technical stand point they really got a hold of our loved ones medication which we did not know was even out of whack so we appreciated that. Also Dale Commons has a nice big backyard and side yard for the residents to walk around in.

we did a tour very nice, a private apartment with care can come in every hour to check on her, depends on the care level, answered questions and had lots of information for us to look over.

We were very impressed with Dale Commons. When we walked in the door there was a sign Welcoming [name removed]! A very nice touch. [name removed] was really pleased. Then he discovered he knew [name removed], Sales Manager. We had a lovely lunch with him at the facility and had time with [name removed], Director of Assisted Living, about what is available and how we can get other help. It was quite obvious that the residence were enjoying their meal with a restaurant style service and friendly staff. The person who operates the gym and is also a personal trainer spent some time with [name removed] talking about his limitations and how she could work with him. The facility was clean and the apartment was really nice. Price was comparable to others. This one is at the top of [name removed] list at the moment.

Moving our family member into an assisted living facility was not an easy decision. Once we toured multiple homes in our area, we were drawn back to Dale Commons more than once. Our mother is very happy there, well cared for and worries about nothing. She tells us often that she would recommend Dale Commons to anyone of her friends looking for somewhere to live once they were not able to live alone. she truly enjoys being there. We do not have to worry about her care. She loves the food there too.

[date removed] The facility itself is nice but it is ran terribly. The food is awful. The staff doesn't take their responsibilities seriously. My grandmother was not given her medication for two days yet they insisted it was given to her. When I asked to see the book where they sign when medications are given that night was already initialed (6pmit was 3pm) and the following morning at 7am was also initialed. When they counted up the pills there was two more than there should have been. If we wouldn't have been there almost everyday she wouldn't have received her medication. This was not the only incident where a resident didn't receive their medication but marked that they had given it to them. When my grandmother fell and was taken to the hospital the staff called one person on the emergency contact list. The staff knew that this person didn't always have cell service, but they didn't call the other two people listed as emergency contacts. That was Friday night at 10pm. The message wasn't received until 6:30am, the next morning. My grandmother died at 7am before we arrived at the hospital. My grandmother died ALONE. Our family members were at Dale Commons almost every day visiting my grandma. The staff and manager knew our family. They knew we lived out in the country and to call more than one emergency contact. Why would you list 3 if they aren't going to call them? When we asked the manager why protocol wasn't followed and the next emergency contact wasn't called his reply was "how many people do you want me to call?" Later when I questioned the manager again he asked me why I was talking to him. It wasn't him who didn't make the call. The last time I looked up the responsibilities of a manager they include being responsible for their employees. The manager is a joke. The residents pay a lot of money for these people to take care of them and they just don't do their job especially if the family isn't there often.

I have no complaints of how things went for my loved one and I during our tour of this community. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. I was impressed with the presentation they had and how professional they where throughout our visit. It was just not the right location for my loved one in the end decision but I would recommend it to anyone.

I was looking for a place for my father and was referred to Dale Commons. I was told they had 20 empty beds and an "interim manager", which is always a red flag. I was given a tour and marketed with a good pitch. The place was modern and attractive with good window dressing. However, the management and heart and soul of the place was singularly lacking. I was given very mixed messages about services and the front office was unprofessional and sketchy. The management may have passed on confidential information about my father which is a major HIPAA violation. I am a doctor in the medical field and am very familiar with the ethical and professional standards and practices of assisted living facilities. I definitely got the impression that they are in it for the money in a market with limited alternatives. I would stay away and would not place my family member there.

The staff is taking good care of mom. They cater to you and get to know what you like. The food is good and breakfast is the best meal. This is a very nice clean community. They have transportation available and they offer daily activities. This was the most open and updated of the communities we looked at and I would recommend it.

This community looked about the best as far as being clean. This is a newer community and has a nicer atmosphere. The food is good and the staff were nice. This community did seem a little high priced compared to other communities in the area.
