Valley Comfort Assisted Living is a very very clean community, someone is always going around picking up everything and the staff member are very friendly. We do not see many activities going on other than live musical entertainment, bingo and puzzles. They do have a transport van but it has been broken down since our loved one moved in but hopefully that gets fixed here soon. When it comes to the meals that could use some improvement - it does not always look appealing and some of the residents have said it is not the best.... Read more

Caring , clean, safe environment for your loved ones. Valley Comfort is a very caring, family owned facility. They were so kind to my dad , even when he wasn't the nicest, or in the best shape. The staff were always friendly and helpful and the facility was spotless. What had impressed me the first time I toured the facility is that [name removed](manager/owner) knew every single resident by name, they came into his office to speak directly to him and they were treated like his family. He even had special snacks in his desk to give them. They have a wonderful Staff that are friendly and very accommodating to our special requests/needs. My dad ended up passing away Christmas Eve and they were so kind to us after he was picked up. One of the sweet ladies there (that has worked there 19 years!) took us into the lounge and gave us cookies and coffee that she had brought in for her coworkers as we sat and processed what had just happened. That was such an endearing act of kindness that we could never thank her enough for. [name removed] is an angel , he rescued my dad from a horrible rehabilitation facility. My dad came out of that place so incredibly different because they had drugged him and he was just filthy. [name removed] and the girls washed him up so carefully. I have big regrets about sending him to the rehabilitation facility, I feel that was the downfall of my dad's health, but I have zero regrets sending him to Valley Comfort. In fact I told my husband when the time comes and I have to go into a home, that's where I want to go.

Valley Comfort has been a godsend for us in finding the right place for my dad who suffers from advancing dementia. They have been welcoming and is the only place where I could observe the interactions between the staff and residents in everyday life there in the community. It is like one big family, and my dad feels happy and safe there. I am so thankful to have found them with the help of A Place for Mom, and the peace of mind I have knowing he is well cared for is priceless.

I love the community and I am happy with the care they provide. It is a spotless place. It is family owned and the 2 sons who run the community are awesome and they do a great job. The have gotten my dad to shower routinely, with gentle persistence he is doing much better.

In the middle of taking a tour at Valley Comfort, I already knew in my heart that this was the place for dad. It smells nice, it's bright and cheery and the staff? They are wonderful! Everyone greets you and is always so willing to help with any issue. And if they don't have the answers, they will find someone who does. My dad has resided at Valley Comfort for 3 weeks now, and he loves it there. Says the food is great and that they care for him well. He loves the staff and has made good friends already. He enjoys the activities and he told someone there that he had not felt so alive in a long time, since coming there to live. What more could a family want for their dad?

Our experience was horrible caregivers are some what not sure on some of the questions i asked like as if they were hesitant on holding information. housekeeping would also displace the clothing i would have random clothes that didn't belong to my father but also missing several possessions from his room. i understand dementia makes the residents unaware of the actions they do but however the owners should hire more staff to keep a better eye on the resident's care and belongings. i would come during the afternoon and the supervisors would always be busy and unavailable because only one was on duty most of my visits. The caregivers seemed to be short and when something happened they were never around to contact a supervisor.

I really like the specific type of care that Valley Comfort gives to the patients that have dementia. The staff is really friendly and always up to date on my mothers condition and how she is doing. I really can't even think of anything they can improve on. I really like the management and their open door policy. They are very personable.

My husband had gotten out of control, was abusive, would not bathe, would not eat, and I had finally realized how severely my health was deteriorating. The staff, admin, aides and cleaning, are fantastic. He was not a happy camper at first. Now he is comfortable with staff and the residence and it is absolutely wonderful. God answered my prayers when He led me here. I continue to give Him the praise and the glory. The residence is clean, they work on it constantly, the areas are in good condition and staff is fantastic with him and the other residents. Staff is caring, compassionate, and gentle. I highly recommend this facility.
