It was a horrible experience. They were not changing my loved ones linens, or washing their clothes on a regular basis. They were not checking on my loved one. They were friendly but not helpful. They did not have any activities. We moved our loved one out this facilty, due to the asssited living side being closed.

This was a home setting and this was not what we were looking for for my loved one. We wanted a different environment and somewhere that my loved one would have more privacy.
Crimson Heights is open and handicapped accessible so our loved one is able to easily get around inside the community as well as their apartment. However they are not the biggest fan of the food, and due to the covid restrictions the activities are still very limited.

Pros: its a fairly new facility built in April 2019. Facility looks great and they have good therapy equipment and spacious rooms. Cons: Patient call lights not fully working, Don't attempt to call because you either get put on endless hold, disconnected, hung up on, or no one answer. In fact you might be dumped into an ext. that no one knows who it is since no one has ext. they only page or walk around to locate the person.

I have a family friend that is currently in Crimson Heights in Humble. I always like to start with the positive. So for positive the place is a very beautiful location. However, there is tons of issues. If you put a call light on expect to wait anywhere from 60 minutes to 90 minutes just for someone to possible check to see what the light is on for. Then another 30 minutes or hour for the need to be address. They just finally put phones in patients room so if you don't have or want your cell up there to get stolen you can call out or even attempt to call the facility to get assistance in the room. However that brings up another issue because you are hung up on multiple times if anyone does answer. Therapy room is almost always empty and you get very short therapy sessions if you are supposed to be getting rehab. The front reception and nurses station can be empty for 30 + minutes while staff on break or doing their hair on company time. Hope you don't get sick because they can't find you something to vomit in but they will gladly bill insurance company for your stay. Food may be cold when deliver to room and you rarely get any condiments with the meal on a regular diet. They will call you for a plan of care meeting the night before and want you there but won't have the staff at the plan of care meeting to address your questions. They will say that they will notify you of any bills way ahead of time but then turn around and contact you a week or two after they have started adding up charges. 20% of monthly care cost can be over $5500.00

This a newly opened place. And my love one has been there for a couple of months. They need some improvement with customer service. They never answer the phone on time and if they do they have to place you on hold, pass you around, and may hang up on you. And you can call back and they want even answer the phone. What if it's an emergency. Some of the staff is lazy and don't want to do anything to help. When you go to sign your love one out there is never a pen and if you ask for one, they get an attitude. And also the staff be going in the residence rooms and taking food and drinks without asking residences. We buy these items for our love one and no one should be taking anything without asking, It's not all the staff. But they need to do better.
