It's an absolutely beautiful place, like a 5-star hotel. It's well decorated. The only thing we had to take there were our loved one's clothes, toothpaste, and toothbrush. Everything else was included - TV, furniture, everything. She's happy with the food overall. It's a very good place, and about the same price as anything else in the area.... Read more

My mom has been there since the doors opened. It is getting very bad.the help is bad. The last two nites she got her nite meds at 11.30 pm. She asked someone and they found them in the trash.she hardly ever gets asked about food. They clean her room sometimes. No scheduled showers. It may look nice but that’s all. It was recently sol to some investors from Texas. So there are no bosses on site. You know what that means. She is wheelchair bound, but they tell her this is assisted living she has to help herself. Think twice and do your homework cause you will be disappointed.

We thought basic information like knowing what time the meals are, helping out with the TV channels would of been helpful during the onboarding process. Even though our loved one does not participate in activities, they have a bunch going on

I think it is fine for assisted living, but if you need more care I would not recommend it. If you have someone to advocate for you it is a great place and beautiful, but if you do not things do not get done as they should.

My Mom is a resident of Century Oaks. My 3 siblings and myself are so pleased with the facility all of the amenities they provide. After doing my homework of several facilities before bring her back to Wisconsin to be closer to family as she has memory issues, the cost for Century Oaks very cost friendly.

My mother in law lives at Century Oaks and we love it. The staff treats everyone like family and is very welcoming. The food is great and they give 2 food options at every meal and an adult beverage if she wants, their is also “snack alley “ where she can Help herself to ice cream soda cappuccino and the chef always has treats sitting out. The building is absolutely beautiful and housekeeping keeps it super clean. I am so happy that my 80-year-old mother-in-law wants to live here and now calls it her home.

The people are very helpful they are concerned for the residents. Let them know if you have an issue so they can help find a solution. The rooms sizes are great. They have their own washer and dryer. I love the setup. My mom likes the food.

My mom was a resident. The caregivers try but they are severely understaffed. With no caregiver per resident regulations, they say they are not understaffed but they are. My sister and I would come every single evening and witnessed so many disturbing violations. In a complaint filed with the state, there were 6 caregivers onsite during a fire drill with 57 residents, most of whom need assistance in transporting and/or suffer from dementia. Another complaint that was substantiated reported a resident forgotten outside in the sun for over three hours on an 80 degree day last summer. If your loved one is quiet, if you pay your rent on time, and if you don’t inquire or complain, [name removed], one of the owners, will be nice. Otherwise, she will get in your face, agree with you to your face, then turn around and change her mind, or argue aggressively and invite you to give your 30 day notice. [name removed] should never be in direct contact with residents and their families. Most of the positive reviews on Google are given by the family of the owners ([name removed]) or employees ([name removed]).

[Name removed] toured this place alone. Beautiful facility, nicely appointed, large single rooms. Fully furnished not sure if you may bring your own furniture. Large friendly staff, welcoming and personable. Impressive array of amenities. Independent living through hospice and availability is an issue.

It was a very tough transition for mom, but the people at Century Oaks were very helpful and nice. The place is beautiful and the meals are good. It’s nice for mom to have a variety of choices to pick from at all three meals. They are in the process of adjusting there activities for the residents. The changes look very promising.

Century Oaks is a wonderful assisted living home, My mother in law was extremely happy while recovering from back surgery. They have a professional chef with two entrees' to choose from, a wonderful salad bar and an ice cream machine to make cones or sundaes when you want. The staff are attentive and alway kind and respectful. Love this place : ) I would live here now!

This company is NOT for dementia residents!! They will say they are but they’re not!! ALWAYS short staffed, and staff does not introduce themselves. Most staff dressed unprofessionally. ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION! When questions are asked of staff about resident “oh I don’t know I wasn’t working that shift” or “I’m not sure what happened” with unexplained scratches/bruises on the resident. No licensed staff in building 24 hrs, only CNA med techs. No activities for dementia. An occasional musician but mostly bingo bingo and more bingo with a possible movie at night. Room is not cleaned routinely. And did I mention NO COMMUNICATION! Also if you try to call this facility to check on the resident THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE, after multiple attempts during the day they might but pm/ night shift hardly if at all. Just not a good facility.

Bright and attractive facility. Staff that truly cares for and interacts well with residents and their families. Wonderful amenities and creative activities. Grateful for Bluestone Physicians Services once a month. So helpful to have a nurse on staff as well. Staff is positive and patient when working through challenging situations that arise.

Dad lived at this brand new community for a short time and while they were well meaning I think they just had a young staff that was not trained well in memory care. The community is beautiful. This is supposed to be a locked down community, however the outside gate was not always closed. They did not have an activities director so they had little if any activities. Dad did not like the food. I think this will be a better community in a few years with some more experience.

A Place for Mom has scored Century Oaks Assisted Living 5.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
