Avanti has been great for both of my parents

When my father developed Alzheimer's, after my mother had had it for 10 years, I had to move them to the Dallas area. We were so blessed to find Avanti. They have lived here over 2 years and love it. My mother was in the Memory care unit. I have never seen more loving and caring staff members. When she recently passed away, the staff was truly sad to see her go. My family and I received so much love and concern. My dad is living in the assisted living area. He loves the food and his friends that live there also. The staff takes great care of him and he has never complained about anyone or anything. I can't recommend this wonderful place, to live, enough.

Our family had an in person tour and this community is in a great location near all the shopping areas and everything. The rooms are a great size, and there is a lot of beautiful landscaping. This is a good place for those who are pretty independent and do not need a lot of services. It is similar to living in a luxury hotel.

Would recommend

I would recommend this community. My biggest concern is the staff turn over. It has been a big concern getting to know someone and then they are gone and you have to get to know someone else. I think that this is just something happening in the whole senior living system at this time. My loved one is really happy over there.

Our tour was not good a good experience. We were just not at all interested. They did not seam nearly as customer service oriented as the place we chose. The facility is older as well..

Don’t trust this place

My dad was treated poorly here. He died because of their neglect. Things went missing from his apartment. This place looks nice on a tour, but it is a nightmare once your parent has lived here.

Great first impression!

Wow! this place is beautiful! Not just visually! the people who work there have such a beautiful way of treating prospective clients! From my first call and dealings with the sweet and helpful concierge to the very knowledgeable and patient sales lady, [name removed]. After talking with her I felt like family. If I had a question about anything in particular, in my case it was about memory care activities. [name removed] immediately connected me with [name removed] their Salize Programmer. [name removed] was such a joy to talk to as she showed so much excitement about not only her programs but also talked about the care they give to their residents. I was definitely impressed by everyone I spoke to at Avanti Flower Mound.

Avanti is a great senior living facility.

Avanti Senior Living at Flower Mount is a wonderful place. My mother-in-law has been living there comfortably for more than one year. Her apartment is lovely and clean. The staff is caring and kind. Her needs are met beautifully and she has been very happy there. The most important aspect of life there is that they were very careful to protect the health and safety of the residents during the pandemic. My mother-in-law did not contract COVID because of the rules put in place at Avanti. This was remarkable particularly as Dallas was hard-hit by the pandemic. My husband, sister-in-law, brother-in-law and I are most grateful for this. The cuisine needs improvement but they are always working on that. Fun activities are available if the resident chooses to participate.

We found a place for for mom

I was brought to Avanti after a careful search for a place for my mom; she was aging and becoming difficult. It was a hard decision for us but we needed support. we wanted a place that would provide the type of care she has had for the past 10 years of her life; respectful, caring, clean, efficient and full of life and energy. We found Avanti to be the place. Close to my sisters home and providing the type of care we wanted. We must have visited 7 other firms prior to Avanti. The most amazing thing was that after reviewing the facilities my sister [name removed] decided to dedicate her career at Avanti and she prsently has been a member of their team. She fell in love with the care, staff and facilities. My mom passed away the [date removed] of this year. But my sister is now a fulltime employee provideing service to her adopted families.

Avanti Flower Mound Review

I have had my Dad at Avanti Flower Mound for over a year now. He loves the Caregivers that are so good to him. During this time of "lockdown" when I can't see him, they are like his family and I appreciate that so much. They have taken very good care of him and I am so glad he is in such a nice place.

They can't keep staff, ignore the residents

This place has constant staff turnover. It has been some time since this place has planned any sort of activities for the seniors. We were promised all sorts of things to keep our parent active and happy. None of that has come to fruition. Now the shut down has made things worse. It used to be that at least my siblings and I could visit him and take him out, but now, no one is allowed to come or go so he just sits in his room, a total shut in, not allowed to come or go, not allowed visitors, no activities. He has become depressed. They simply do not care. The final straw is that his TV has stopped working and no one will look at it so now, literally, he can just sit in his chair, not leave the room, nothing. My dad was functioning quite well when he went in, now he is just a depressed shut in.

90 year olds transition with grace by help of caring stall

Staff is very responsive to the needs of our 90 year old parents. They go out of their way to help get parents out to socialize and are good with cleanliness.

Did not live up to expectations

It was so disappointing. They offered no activities. The had a huge staff turnover, including 5 or 6 administrators while we were there. The main issue was her pain medications were not being given on time and then six days of her medications went missing. She was prescribed compression stocking to be put on and removed daily, but she would go three or four days without them because the staff didn't do it.

I had a great experience with Avanti Flower Mound. The staff has been very helpful and I am so excited about the courtyard view my mother has. The food menu is amazing and I have been really impressed with the freshness and quality of food. Defiantly recommend to others!
