Friendly and Attentive Staff
My father developed dementia and spent the last year and a half of his life at Avalon Lewisville. He was comfortable, enjoyed the place, had very good meals, and was surrounded by friendly and attentive staff.
The team at Avalon took great care of my father’s needs, provided comfort, and were excellent at communicating with me as well.

Friendly and Attentive Staff
My father developed dementia and spent the last year and a half of his life at Avalon Lewisville. He was comfortable, enjoyed the place, had very good meals, and was surrounded by friendly and attentive staff.

A Safe And Caring Place For Your Loved One
I was impressed with the lower residents to staff ratio. The community was very easy to work with while moving my loved one in, and my loved one's items out after their passing.
My loved one really thought the staff were loving while they were here. The food was enjoyed by my loved one. There were three meals a day served and snacks to the residents.
The staff took in to account on how they approached the residents due to the time of the day. The night and day staff were very responsive to the family's questions.
The community was very straightforward with what they could provide for us, and the paperwork was easy to complete.

Upscale Community for Assisted Living
This is a nice and clean community. I would recommend you stay active and be the advocate for your loved one's care, as the community doesn't provide or have an advocate for your loved one. The staff are great and quick to communicate with the family with answers to our questions or concerns.
Transfers, medication management, hygiene, and bathing assistance are all types of care the community is able to provide my loved one.
There are not really any activities for the memory care residents, and it is not on a consistent basis when offered. My loved one is bored since the activities are not consistent.
There is a home cooked meal provided to the residents three times a day. My loved one seems to be happy with the food.
Care, the apartment, utilities, laundry, housekeeping, and changing of linens are included in the monthly rate.
