This facility has been great! Everyone is super friendly here. It's a small community. The staff knows everyone by name and really seem to know each resident and their needs. My mom is pretty independent, but did fall ill for a short time and the staff handled it so well. They checked on her often, took her temperature frequently, and just monitored her to make sure she was comfortable and had what she needed. I wasn't able to be there and I appreciated knowing that she was well taken care of during that time. The staff here is remarkable, we couldn't ask for better. Mom is happy and that's all that matters. One thing I did notice, in the short time that mom has been here, we've witnessed two or three residents who came in for Assisted Living be transitioned to Memory Care. I saw the staff recognize the needs of those residents, evaluate them and their care needs, and get them transitioned to Memory Care so that those needs could be met. It was really great to see that extra effort and care being given, very comforting. One thing I would suggest is a couple of benches for the residents to sit on out back. There's a big Soccer Field area back there and the residents love to watch the kids play Soccer. I see them standing at the back door frequently, just enjoying watching the kids play. They do have benches in the front, but I think the residents would really enjoy having some out back! I would absolutely recommend this facility to family and friends.... Read more

It's tough finding a good place that you can trust for your loved ones. When looking for assisted living for mom, the admin staff impressed me and continue to do so. They are genuine and exceed my expectations. All staff know the residents so well.
We went with Cariad at North Brook mostly because it really had more of a homey feel to it and was not commercialized. It is a smaller facility and the one on one care seemed to be better. The staff has been really friendly and helpful. They respond promptly to emails as well. Sometimes when you talk to them they listen but you can tell they are very busy. Dad does complain about their being a lack of variety on the menu and sometimes the food is served cold so I think they could improve there. Overall I would definitely recommend them to others.

They take them in as their family. It's been the hardest thing I have ever done in my life but the best thing for my loved one.

The community is extremely caring and knowledgeable. they do what they say they are going to. The communication between the staff and our family was good and they kept us well informed. I would recommend this community to others

My parents are adjusting well at North Brook Place. They keep quiet for the most part but the staff does encourage them to get involved in activities. They like the food for the most part. They did have some complaints not that long ago because the oven had broke and they served a lot of the same things. The community wasn't at fault for this and it has since been resolved. We chose North Book Place because my parents aren't fancy folks and aren't impressed by flashy things. We felt this was a more relaxed and comfortable environment they could adjust into.

I toured this facility for my father, and it is a nice looking community. The staff was very kind and informative. From what I saw everything is very well maintained. It just wasn't the community for my father, but it was a pleasant tour.

When I walked in the door, North Brook gave me a good feeling. My sister and I immediately liked the sales advisor. We received the entire tour and met a lot of the staff while we made out way through North Brook. Everybody who worked there was so kind to each other and the residents. And speaking of the residents; they were out of their rooms. Several sitting areas are throughout the home and they were occupied. People were playing dominoes. I have North Brook to compare to where I moved my mom from. It was expensive, there were too many residents, some of the staff were very unpleasant. North Brook is a breath of fresh air. We moved mom in as soon as possible.

They definitely worked with me and actually reduced their rate in order to help us out and get her moved in. They are great and they welcome you and act like family. They are very attentive and her room is always well-kept.
