They were very patient with my father-in-law, which I found great because he can be repetitive and anxious sometimes. They are very good with him, and he seems to be more at ease now that he's got a place of his own. When I toured the place they had so many different activities and rooms that provided different experiences for the residents; and I really liked that. The staff doesn't seem overwhelmed and that's a big problem for other places. He's got his freedom back, and is able to stay in place there as he transitions to memory care in the future. They already have a place for him when that time comes, which is exactly what I was looking for. \nOverall I would recommend Brookdale Geary Street to others.\n\nIn addition to Brookdale: A place for Mom REALLY helped me out at a time that was really hard for me because I was taking care of him and he's very anxious. \n[name removed] really helped me through a tough time.
