Our Alzheimer's and dementia care community, also known as Clare Bridge, is rooted in “a person-centered approach”. That means we help our residents find a sense of belonging and purpose while also helping them preserve who they are.
Whether it’s flooring choices or how we approach behavioral expressions, our Clare Bridge program uses an evidence-based approach to continue to evolve and build our state-of-the-art care for you and your family. We focus on building relationships with you and your loved one based on trust, loving concern and a strong sense of family.
Here residents stay engaged with a gentle daily structure of planned activities to help them maintain their abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. Brain games, dancing, cooking and baking classes and music programs are just a few of the ways our residents enjoy their time. Along with our programming, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that trained staff is on-site 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Here are just a few of the activities your loved one could enjoy here:
Studies show close relationships play an integral role in aging well. That’s why we help our residents stay connected with innovative technology. InTouch at Brookdale brings the outside world in with an intuitively designed touch-screen computer.
Our apartments have plenty of natural window light and some even have a garden view. You and your family will have several floor plans to choose from. We’ll help you make your loved one’s apartment familiar and comfortable with a move-in guide and a suggested list of what to bring. And our community has an open neighborhood concept, each of which features a kitchenette, common living space and apartment suites that surround the common area of each neighborhood.
We use mealtime as an opportunity to offer healthy menu choices and create a sense of belonging. Here our residents enjoy dementia-friendly menus with familiar and easy-to-manage selections, small dining rooms with consistent pre-selected seating and personal dining assistance.
Residents enjoy our cafe bistro with light snacks and beverages available throughout the day. With landscaped grounds and gardens, your loved one can enjoy a sunny day outside on our porch or in our enclosed courtyard with walking paths and gardens.
Whether it’s our Clare Bridge program for mid to late stages or our Solace program for the advanced stages of dementia, we have purposeful programs that offer the care you and your family need.
Our exclusive Personalized Service System allows us to provide individually customized plans for your family member. Your customized plan means you only pay for the services you need and want. And we’re flexible, so when your needs decrease or increase, your plan and its cost do, too.
