Brighton Gardens provides assisted living in an apartment-style setting that offers the simple pleasures - nutritious food, comfortable surroundings, and the support of a warm, caring and competent staff. A separate Special Care Center for residents with Alzheimer's or other memory related disorders is also on-site. The key to our success in the Special Care Center is our dedicated and compassionate staff, which receives special training and supervision. Our Special Care programming offers a variety of activities designed to achieve memory enrichment and positive social interactions. Caring for residents with dementia is a partnership between the community and the family, frequent family visits are encouraged and support groups and advisory councils are arranged. A Short Stay Program for seniors who need short-term care may also be available. It is the ideal alternative for recuperating after a hospital stay, while family caregivers are on vacation or if you just want to try out assisted living. My loved one is currently a resident at Brighton Gardens of Raleigh and everything started off okay for her at this facility, but things are not so great now. The new Director is not great and does not appear to be very friendly. However, most of the other staff are friendly. My loved one hasn't needed much as far as care services, so I cannot rate that one. The food is mediocre. As for the activities, sometimes there is no one to run them and also the participation is low. The value for cost is okay, my loved one has a large apartment. My loved one thought that she would like this larger place and loved the large apartment, but I think the medium sized places that we saw might have been a better fit, food and care wise. I'm not sure that I would recommend Brighton Gardens of Raleigh to someone right now.

My loved one is a resident at Brighton Gardens of Raleigh. The facility has very good security. The number and skill set of the staff is appropriate and very good, respectively. I would recommend the facility for someone who has surpassed the Independent Care stage and needs from some assistance to much assistance. Also, it's close to a hospital which has an excellent heart hospital. Prior to enrolling, ensure the assessment they do in determining your level of care (which determines the cost of care) is accurate.

We are very happy. My father is well cared for. He's gained weight from the meals. Any time we've had a complaint it's been dealt with quickly. They provide transportation twice a week to dialysis. It's a huge relief that dad is settled and happy.

We had a great overall experience. Brighton Gardens of Raleigh is always clean and organized. Best, friendly caring staff. The place has a great "vibe" it's like being around family all the time. The take very good care of Dad but the in house doctors are slow to respond and there is miss communications. A little under staffed but this is going on everywhere. Dad says food is great! Lots of things to do activities wise.

Overall, it is a clean friendly facility. Most of the staff is exceptionally nice. Communication between the medical staff and Doctors making housecalls could be improved, Along with Family communication.

The quality of care has been very good, the nursing staff has such tight coordination with the doctors which has been great. The staff are very responsive and attention to the residents and always call the residents by their name. You can see all the playful banter between to co-workers, you can tell they are happy to be working there. When you see how satisfied and positive the staff are it trickles on down to the residents.

My loved one has made a few friends. They get along with the staff. They are very active and likes to walk. I would highly recommend this facility. Overall, I am very pleased, and it's give me a peace of mind.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are very friendly, helpful, kind, and were wonderful at helping my loved one move into the community. The communication from the front desk to admissions, to the executive director and everyone in between was fabulous.

we toured Brighton Gardens and thought it was great upon first impression. we chose another community because Brighton Gardens could not accommodate my loved ones level of care.
When I first got to this community, I feel like the staff are warming up to me and kind and caring but I feel like it took a while. I feel like sometimes they are sitting around a lot but this is a hard job. I know that they are learning more about my mom and getting to know her and I appreciate this and them working with her personality. The food is really good and there is a good variety of foods for the residents to pick from. This community is open and bright. The one struggle is getting paperwork done on time to get important things taken care of.

I really liked Brighton Gardens of Raleigh. It was bright and clean, and there were lots of people out and about during the day. It was just more care than our loved one was needing.
They have two parts, assisted living and memory care, which are totally different units. My mother is in the memory care unit, and I would highly recommend the facility, especially compared to another place we've experienced. They keep a pretty stable staff, and that's very important. If the staff is always brand new, that's an indication of issues. But they're pretty constant, which I appreciate. And they've been very good for our family.

Nurses/care staff are great. Property is beautiful and well care for. Unhappy with office staff. Do not give them access to your loved one's bank account. We were overcharged by several thousand dollars in rent. Maintenance issues also not handled in a timely manner. Quality of food is poor.

Brighton Gardens is a great place, they gave an amazing tour. We are actually working with them right now to try and get my friend in here and they have been very accommodating.,
There pare some wonderful staff that took great care of my mother. I have no complaints about her care & I would have given them 5 stars for that. The problems began during the lockdown. My mother complained she could see mice running on her couch. I talked to lots of people over there about it but nothing was done.It took my mothers social worker showing them 3 months later before anything was done. They caught several mice. When my mothers health deteriorated we were finally allowed to see her. While cleaning we discovered that mice had ruined the mattress in her sleeper sofa.It was new.We set traps & caught 2 mice.My mother lived for months with rat urine & rat feces.She passed away on [date removed]. We couldn’t move out her belongs ourselves.They would have to do it.When I arrived this morning after a weeks notice all her things were outside by the dumpster! No one to help. So in summary the maintenance mgr is the main problem.NO response from the facility after a year.
