Brighton Gardens provides assisted living in an apartment-style setting that offers the simple pleasures - nutritious food, comfortable surroundings, and the support of a warm, caring and competent staff. A separate Special Care Center for residents with Alzheimer's or other memory related disorders is also on-site. The key to our success in the Special Care Center is our dedicated and compassionate staff, which receives special training and supervision. Our Special Care programming offers a variety of activities designed to achieve memory enrichment and positive social interactions. Caring for residents with dementia is a partnership between the community and the family, frequent family visits are encouraged and support groups and advisory councils are arranged. A Short Stay Program for seniors who need short-term care may also be available. It is the ideal alternative for recuperating after a hospital stay, while family caregivers are on vacation or if you just want to try out assisted living. Please call for more information or to schedule a visit to find out how Brighton Gardens can enrich your life or the life of a loved one.
Total monthly costs depend on room type, select services, and the level of care needed.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are very friendly, helpful, kind, and were wonderful at helping my loved one move into the community. The communication from the front desk to admissions, to the executive director and everyone in between was fabulous.

June 27, 2022Thank you for the wonderful things you said about Brighton Gardens of Raleigh and the dedicated care givers and team members. Our residents are part of the Sunrise family and we take enormous pride in having the privilege to take care of them.
we toured Brighton Gardens and thought it was great upon first impression. we chose another community because Brighton Gardens could not accommodate my loved ones level of care.
When I first got to this community, I feel like the staff are warming up to me and kind and caring but I feel like it took a while. I feel like sometimes they are sitting around a lot but this is a hard job. I know that they are learning more about my mom and getting to know her and I appreciate this and them working with her personality. The food is really good and there is a good variety of foods for the residents to pick from. This community is open and bright. The one struggle is getting paperwork done on time to get important things taken care of.
I really liked Brighton Gardens of Raleigh. It was bright and clean, and there were lots of people out and about during the day. It was just more care than our loved one was needing.
They have two parts, assisted living and memory care, which are totally different units. My mother is in the memory care unit, and I would highly recommend the facility, especially compared to another place we've experienced. They keep a pretty stable staff, and that's very important. If the staff is always brand new, that's an indication of issues. But they're pretty constant, which I appreciate. And they've been very good for our family.
Nurses/care staff are great. Property is beautiful and well care for. Unhappy with office staff. Do not give them access to your loved one's bank account. We were overcharged by several thousand dollars in rent. Maintenance issues also not handled in a timely manner. Quality of food is poor.
Brighton Gardens is a great place, they gave an amazing tour. We are actually working with them right now to try and get my friend in here and they have been very accommodating.,
There pare some wonderful staff that took great care of my mother. I have no complaints about her care & I would have given them 5 stars for that. The problems began during the lockdown. My mother complained she could see mice running on her couch. I talked to lots of people over there about it but nothing was done.It took my mothers social worker showing them 3 months later before anything was done. They caught several mice. When my mothers health deteriorated we were finally allowed to see her. While cleaning we discovered that mice had ruined the mattress in her sleeper sofa.It was new.We set traps & caught 2 mice.My mother lived for months with rat urine & rat feces. She passed away on [date removed]. We couldn’t move out her belongs ourselves. They would have to do it.When I arrived this morning after a weeks notice all her things were outside by the dumpster! No one to help. So in summary the maintenance mgr is the main problem.NO response from the facility after a year.

We have had a wonderful experience at this community. They have activities for those that are willing to participate it is a positive thing and there is a good variety of activities to keep the residents engaged.
Overall they do a good job, and I would recommend it with the caveat that during Covid, things weren't handled the way they should have been. The supervisor didn't wear the mask at all. And other workers would wear their masks under their noses or chins. Even though at one point the community was fully vaccinated, I thought that in a healthcare setting, you should have people who were taking it more seriously. I talked to them about it, and they sent out a memo, but there was no change in employee behavior. Some of the staff are super friendly, others not quite as friendly. The food is really good. It's seasoned well, and there's a good variety. The facility is nice overall but the rooms are just okay, kind of old and plain. They said they'll be updating the rooms though, and they need it. But I think the care is decent.
Our family had an in person tour and our experience was kind of negative. We felt the marketing team was more pushy and all about the sales.
We did a tour with this community and it was very nice. The tour was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and gave us lots of information to consider.
It a part of the Sunrise franchise, nice place with good services and community feel. Residents looked happy and healthy. But, their pricing for the same services and similar rooms are different per community.
Excellent visit and very helpful staff. They have immediate availability and the room is very nice.
BG is 3 1/2 stars. It is a little run down from our perspective, and the rooms are pretty small and depressing. In the memory care unit, the rooms were depressing (brow indoor/outdoor carpet, very little ambient light, very small) The staff was very pleasant and people did look happy, but so long as mom has enough on the ball to be affected by her environment, this was not an option, despite its great location.
Brighton Gardens is ran like a 5 star hotel. Excellent service and food. The care level for my mother far exceeds expectations. I got the usual pushback from my mother after being independent for 40 years of living alone. She has been at Brighton for 2 months and they have totally won her over.
Only has Assisted Living and Memory Care - not Independent Living. Was contacted by [name removed] and told 3 other Sunrise facilities in Raleigh - none had Independent Living.
