The team here is phenomenal!
The team here is phenomenal!! The caregivers who have taken care of my grandma have been here for years and always address any of our needs immediately. There is an abundance of amazing activities happening throughout the week that really keep my grandma engaged, happy, and connected to others

The staff are friendly and there was very little turn over while we were there. Most of the staff have accents though and some of the residents had difficulty understanding them. Communication is not the best at Arden Courts, particularly between shifts. A staff member on one shift didn't have any idea what happened during a previous shift so it was very difficult to get answers to questions. The WiFi is really bad as well so trying to do work while there or even just send texts, look something up, etc. can be difficult. Also, if you use something like an Amazon echo, it has to be reconnected to the internet every 24 hours. They also say they have a 24/7 open door policy but when my father was dying, we got some pushback from admin about staying with him around the clock. Staff were okay with it though and the night shift would even bring us water and snacks. They were very sweet. When my dad died, the staff also performed a nice ceremony.

The ladies in activities are just wonderful and caring people . I feel at ease now that I have seen their hearts and care with all the residents not just my family member. I look forward to coming for my visit now after meeting them. Those ladies not only love my family member they also show their care for me . The food also looks good no complaints from my aunt.

A great place for mom
When it came to the time where we needed to find a place for my mom, we toured many places. Arden Courts met all our needs. The caregivers are wonderful, the activity staff couldn’t be more attentive and everyone else is just great. It feels like one big family. I am glad we chose Arden.

Patience and Understanding
Unfortunately my wife was diagnosed with dementia and it was necessary to locate a suitable memory care facility in our area where we hoped she would receive the best care possible. Locating such a facility became a family goal with everyone doing their part. Our daughter in law contacted A Place for Mom and they provided us with a list of suitable facilities nearby. We looked at several facilities in our area and finally decided on Arden Courts in Yardley PA.. During our visit to Arden Courts we were given a pretty transparent look at the staff and the facility. The rooms were of a decent size and had a warm and accommodating look to them. The overall appearance of the facility was warm and inviting. As we continued on our tour we came to the activities area where we met the activities director [name removed]. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care my loved one received at Arden Courts Memory Care. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this facility goes above and beyond to provide a warm, compassionate environment. Best option out there for Mom or Dad!
We looked all over and had experiences at many places over the years. Arden Courts is head and shoulders above the rest. All of the staff are caring and wonderful. The Activities staff is a game changer, keeping the residents engaged all day. The cleanliness and care staff are also outstanding. A true family. The only place I feel 100% confident and comfortable leaving my Mom.

Kind and considerate caring staff
What we like the most about Arden Courts is their caring of the workers, especially the activity coordinators [name removed] & [name removed]...and also the PT & OT staff. The woman who washes and cuts hair is also so sweet with my sister. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

First month experience
While its only been a month, I believe overall Arden was the right choice for our mom. Nothing is perfect when you need 100% assistance with day to day life. She seems to be in good spirits and like the rest of us adapting to her new surroundings with the aides and care takers. I believe in the staff to provide us with updates on necessary issues and day to day living. So far we have been notified a few times on minor incidents.

A Wonderful facility that makes your loved one feel loved.
The receptionist always knew your name after the first visit. The staff on the wing was always around, and they took excellent care of my Mom. The staff called us if my Mom fell or was not feeling well. They made the staff leave their rooms and took them to the activities room, where there was always a person watching the residents. It was nice that there was a monthly calendar of events. If we needed to take my Mom out for a few hours, we were able to sign her out. We really liked that we had the codes to the doors and we could come and go at any time. This was very helpful, when we received called at 11:30 pm that she fell out of bed. During her final days, they arranged for Hospice to come in and provide services. They also allowed the family to spend the night with her, so a family member was with her when she finally passed. In her final days, the RN came every 2 hours during the day and night to check on her and give her any medication to make her comfortable. Mom was only there for 4 months, but we had an excellent experience with Arden Courts and would recommend them to other family going through a loved one that has memory problems.

The staff was terrific. Room is smaller than other places we visited. My dad didn't do the activities but they had plenty to offer if you wished too participate. The level of care you got was amazing. They treated you with respect and dignity.
