About the facility Aperion Care Marion
Aperion Marion Assisted Living is located in a quiet neighborhood on the Southside of Town. We are a Continuum of Care with Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation and Assisted Living. Aperion Assisted Living lets residents age in place. Aperion Assisted Living offers Studio, 1 Bedroom, and 1 Bedroom Suites for our residents. Aperion Marion Assisted Living also offers all inclusive rates. No need to worry month to month, your rate will stay the same.

Lack of compassion and lack of understanding
I think all the staff need to be reavaluated and they have no compassion for the job they do I will put it like this as you are a nurse or a CNA you are there to do your job and take good care of our loved ones as I see you leave my loved one in a diaper all day in bed as I talked to the nurses on different accasions very rude and disrespectful you do not own my loved one you get paid to take care of them and do your job and be respectful to them and to there family honestly the state is over looking these very big problems the nurses are very rude I will tell you this the 10 yrs I have worked in health care I have never been so discusted on how they treat other staff and family members that come in and see there loved ones honestly I wouldn't even give one star it would be well below that if you are going to train a nurse or CNA for the love of god do it right quit getting people who don't give a crap about there job

Aperion = HORRIBLE CARE for your family member
**January 2019**
There is no NEGATIVE star button. Poor care provided by the CNA and Nursing team! WATCH OVER YOUR FAMILY at this location. They will do the minimum and in some cases less than that. Examples of their level of care are: leaving a patient in their wheelchair for 5+ hours on multiple occasions. CNA moving nurse call button away from the patient so they could not call for assistance (while leaving them to sit in a wheelchair that they were unable to get out of alone), failing to apply an ordered wound vac to a patient for 2+ days leaving the wound exposed, medicating a patient without explanation of what medications where being given. The list goes on. I am also filing a report with the state of Indiana as well as the local health department in Marion. I have a long term family member in this facility and I just had to call and leave a voicemail because the motto of the CNA and nursing team is "thats not my job". I was told the DON or Director of Nursing (I was told her name is [name removed]??) would address my request for medical follow up so far nothing has been done. I am writing this because my family member told multiple people YESTERDAY that they need to be seen by the onsite doctor for a chest x-ray per their off-site provider. No one wrote anything down or even stated that it would be taken care of. Please, if you take a job in a place like this do it to help not harm others!

Aperion Care released my family member home with less than 2 weeks worth of insulin, 2 (yes 2 pills on the whole bubble pack) BP pills, and no aftercare doctor. It has been 2 weeks since release and he still has not been seen by a doctor and has long since run out of medication. The phone number they post is for you to leave a voicemail of your complaint (call it and see). Aperion Care treated my family member very badly. If you value your family members STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
