Assisted living communities offer residential communities and assistance to persons who might require a helping hand with mobility or taking medication. Assisted living communities frequently provide help with appointments and transportation, care supervision, and help with daily activities. These areas include staff training program based on the home’s program statement, staff training program based on the residents’ service plans, personal care, and reporting requirements and documentation. This community has a number of provisions concerning food and diet which include three daily meals and snacks must be provided, communities must provide medical nutrition therapy if prescribed by a licensed health care professional, and Food must be prepared in accordance with the recommended daily dietary allowances of the Food and Nutrition Board of the National Academy of Sciences National Research Council.
