First and foremost, Myrtle Beach hosts more than 60 miles of sand, ocean, and charming seaside businesses. Beachgoers can enjoy outdoor shopping and a family-friendly amusement park with 37 rides. This includes the city’s iconic SkyWheel, which offers sweeping views and hosts colorful light shows. For those craving even more oceanic sites, Ripley’s Aquarium contains 1.4 million gallons of unique sea creatures in their watery habitats. Along with these seaside wonders, Myrtle Beach is known as “the Golf Capital of the World.” The city claims more than 100 courses, designed for every type of player — from the competitive to the casual.
