Senior Helpers

This is for homecare, so the activities and cleanliness really don't apply. The charges are expensive regardless, but they all are. They've been really good though! We've been able to have the same person come out and take care, which is nice. They've been very good and responsive with any last minute changes. No issues with communication or anything like that. So far, it's been working out well!

The staff I would definitely give a five. We had three caregivers and two of them were definitely a five but one was probably a three. When we addressed the issues about one caregiver, Kelly immediately took care of the situation, handling it very well. The other two caregivers were phenomenal. They were excellent.

I'm quite pleased with them so far. Sometimes it takes a little time getting used to your caretaker and understand what they can provide and get used to the mix with my mother and how they work with each other so with all that said I would give them a 4 overall. They have been friendly and attentive to our situation. If something was wrong they fixed it right away.

This has been a very emotional roller coster for me. Thinking with my heart and my head, mostly with my heart. The people who care for my parents are awesome but the office staff have been difficult and not understanding at times. But I could not have made this without the care givers!!

I have senior helpers come by twice a week for 3 hours on thursday and Sat. working out well

As with Home Instead, good at home option. Seem very compassionate, concerned to match up people and provide what's needed.

Great company to work with. Have been extremely please with caregiver and management.

Met with the owner and will use them when needed, example, if I cant be home at night due to hospital stay, etc. Someone will come and stay the night with my husband. Also, in the spring, have companion help with gardening with my husband.

My parents are quite happy with the person sent by Senior Care. Thanks so much for all of your help.

We have used Senior Helpers a few times. They are great, being able to supply your needs as a senior whether you need a house cleaner, cook or someone to stay with your spouse while you attend to other needs. They are excellent.

Senior Helpers has been extremely helpful in assisting me in the care of my mother. My wife and I both work fulltime as surgical nurses and they have allowed us to work and still feel confident she is cared for when we can't be present. My mother has memory issues but isn't ready for a fulltime assisted care facility so this is our best option at the moment.

When we first met wth the client relations manager I could tell they were eager to help. I was concerned how a caregiver would be receivers by my parents and they did everything possible to put me at ease. It has only been a week but it is working out so far and I am very hopeful.

We've had a lot of issues. It seems the condition of the caregivers' cars seems to be the problem, a lot of times they can't make it or their cars break down. It has been a bad winter so I am trying to give the benefit of the doubt. I gave the person in charge a copy of the schedule of the days and times we needed, and asked to have it filled out so I know who's coming and the right dates, and that never got done. We do like the one girl but she doesn't have a decent car, and they don't always have a replacement that they can send right away. A lot of them aren't trained they really don't know what to do with dementia. I just don't like the way Faye doesn't follow through. We ask to have the same couple of people and they do try to accommodate.

I liked the owner and they would go out of their way to make sure we had someone. However there was no real consistency of care. We had twelve aides in four months. I didn't feel like any of the trained caregivers could do a better than I could in caring for her and I am not a CNA.

The diorector here 3X/week. Does light housekeeping. Change bed sheets, launder towels and sheets and personals. Wash dishes, clean kitchen, vacuum and sweep living areas and front and back porches, any extra chores listed.

Care taker is very pleasant, but seems very inexperienced. My mom must show her where everything is (which is hard for her as she is almost imobile), show her how to cook and some other household things. It would be nice for an experienced care taker, one that takes initiative, to care for her so that she can relax.

Had problems with bills and filling med. trays. As my mother's caregiver I was not notified when a nurse change took place and there were issues with medication dispensed at that time. Would not use this agency again for mom.

It was hard to get a good match, but they really tried. There were a lot of issues with Accent Care and it was more than one caregiver so it's not like it was just one person that wasn't working. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Never came up with help for evening or weekends. Did not call when helper got sick or send a replacement. Lousy billing. Employed Helper was good
