Highland Meadows community was wonderful for my loved one. The staff members seemed to care about their residents and she liked it. The community is also close to the hospital. When it comes to the value for cost the community is also based on income for the elderly.

Whoever wrote that review in 2015 is a liar!! Shadyway Plaza is a wonderful place to live for people age 50 and up. One of our residents is 104 years old and doesn't have one complaint and none of us are looking for another place. We love our home and the fact that the manager keeps us safe. I was provided tour of the apartment and facility. This was a very nice place w/ friendly people. I picked up application and have mailed this to my brother, so he can apply to be put on the list there.

I really didn't like this place. The residents didn't seem to be very happy, I wasn't impressed with the entry way or the rooms or really anything about it. The activity room was really small and crowded and it didn't look like you could do any activities in there.

She forgot we were coming for a tour, did not have anything available for us to look at, as they have all been filled. Very frustrating since my aunt took the day off of work, and they drove 3 hours to get here to see an apartment.

If you have the resources to look elsewhere..you should. The manager will tell you what you want to hear and make the place seem great. I have talked to 14 of her tenants and they collectively say the same thing. [removed] Many of these tenants are sick and have no other place to go or have lived there for more than 10 yrs and are being forced out for things they cannot control. EVEN IF THEIR RENT IS PAID ON TIME.[removed]
