I was beside myself and wondering where I was going to place my mom. Lisa B was invaluable in helping me find the perfect place. Her expertise, understanding and compassion made this an effortless move. Silverado is all memory care and exactly what my mom needed. They love her there and all the things that were problematic at the last facility are no problem at all. I finally have peace of mind and heart.

Also very impressed. Prices are good. All kinds of doctors will be there including vision and dentist. Rooms/bathrooms very spacious, colors nice. Need 2yr guarentee private pay. Have a special room when they get excited or just to excite the senses. Pet tharapy and outdoor facilities. Can have family dinners in private dinning room or bring own food. Price all inclusive. Need 1mo. rent then will be prorated on 1st statement. Also one time fee is required. Fully furnished, can bring a chair. Need 15 days of clothing and personal items. Residents wear GPS watches, track in computer and alarms go off if opening outside doors.

We had an unhappy experience in another senior care facility. So we recently moved Mom to give her a fresh start. What a difference it has made. She is in physical therapy now and very motivated working to build up her strength. She is able to walk short supervised distances with the walker. Not bad for 98. I get detailed reports of her progress weekly and hopefully, soon she will be able to spend more time on her feet every day. The facility is set up more like a communal home. A den like room offers big screen TV with comfy chairs and tables for activities. The dining room tables are set, with flowers and table cloths and she likes the food! I had lunch with her recently and was very pleased. There seems to be a good ratio of staff to residents and everyone is friendly and patient. Go and have a look and judge for yourself.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. I thought Silverado Orchard Park seemed like a very nice place! They took a lot of time with the tour and explained everything very well, as well as answering any questions I had. I was impressed!

Good energy, good food, and kind, attentive, highly competent caregivers and other staff. Also a beautiful place. We, including Mom, feel lucky to have found it. Its now-three residential floors are generally geared to the level of memory impairment. Exceptional activities or "engagement" programming, a house dog and two cats, guests free at any meal (even every night for dinner!), very nice rooms, green neighborhood setting. Staff are genuinely friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. After a medical assessment, on-site rehab - PT, OT, and also speech therapy for memory work. Caregivers are reducing dependence on the wheelchair by working in more use of the walker. Responsive to requests for how we want things for Mom!

I have had a favorable response with this community. My loved one is doing well. They have been very nice, and have worked very hard with my loved one. They are even helping with her communication skills. I think some of the issues we have had, have been from the communication issues, such as being able to figure out when a resident may need some alone time, we are working on that. The animals they have here is an absolute godsend, they require a cat and a dog for every 25 residents. They don't just have cats and dogs either, they have guinea pigs, and rabbits too. They allow you to bring your animals with you here as well, and they charge only a nominal fee to care for them. The meals have been nice, and the activities have been good. They have entertainment once or twice a week, their outside activities should be ramping up more as the weather permits. They have only had this place since something like last November. My only complaint at this point is sometimes it can be hard to get in and out on the evenings and weekends, but they are working on that too, by updating the phone system and getting a pager system going as well. All in all we are very pleased!

I feel assured that my partner is being cared for with the best methods and experience at The Auberge (formerly Silverado) Orchard Park. I, as most of the other families, have concerns over the new management company. Things seem to be pretty much the same at this point but it's very early in the game for them and we are anxious about changes in the future.

I honestly feel that this place has been a miracle when we needed it most. It has continued to bless me in many ways. Everyone goes above and beyond to make me very happy here.

I think that my Father is getting adequate care here. He is slowly adjusting and they have done a good job with addressing his pain, which is something that had been ignored by previous caregivers, so he is a lot calmer. They are very gentle with him, which my siblings and I appreciate. Moving him in was very easy and everyone made him, and the family, feel welcome. They have worked to make us part of the community and we have met several other family members of other residents. I am concerned with his eating, however. Since they have many people on the floor he is on that need help eating and have been at the facility longer, he’s typically left as the last one to be fed. But they’re doing their best. They are certainly aware of how, and when, he gets anxious and have actually gotten him to tell them what it is that’s making him anxious (in this instance it’s the way they help him in and out of bed and his wheelchair). I am trying to be realistic and give both my Father and the facility time to adjust to each other. He has only been there for 6-8 weeks, so I am going to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. But overall, it hasn’t been a bad experience.

I feel we have finally navigated through the adjustment process, and my friend is doing well with her move to this community. I do comfortable with her move to this community. I know she in good hands, and safe. They have a good staff, and they are attentive, and helpful. They do a good job with the cleanliness, it is a clean community. I think they do a good job engaging with their residents. This is a nice community, and I would recommend it.

Caring staff, clean facility and warm environment. Need to get residents out in the sunshine or out of their facility at least once a week- might be a problem in the winter. Staff effective in engaging mom and getting her to participate in the activities. Food is good and they do everything to encourage and welcome family members.

The people I met at this community during my tour were nice. The community looked clean. This was not the right fit for us as it is more for city people and we were looking for a more rural setting.

The place is very clean. The staff is very friendly. The only thing that I would say is the nursing for the medication seemed at times like they didn't know what they were doing. When I ask specific questions about that it is hard to get the details I am wanting to know. That said, we are pleased and dad is happy.

We are pretty pleased with Silverado. So far they have been very good. They have been very responsive to us, and we are happy with them at this point.

I've had a very positive experience with Silverado- Orchard Park. The staff there is great. They are however, having some difficulty keeping my husband busy because he does not have Alzheimers, only dementia. The food could also be better. But all in all, I'm pleased with their services.

There have been some issues with things missing, and other residents taking his things, and being a little aggressive. I like the staff and the food here. I chose it based on how much nicer it was than all the other places I looked at.

Still in the reviewing process but it does seem that they need more staff in all area's and should keep to their promises on care giving, well give and updated review at a later time.

Still under construction but, there is a model unit in a trailer. Sounds like a fine facility but, would need to see it in operation to actually get a "feel" for the place.

It fell more like an institution, not really homey. Staff was friendly and kind. Seemed very busy with many people around

It's ran like a business. The sales lady there is horrible, she should be a used care salesman.She's very aggressive and lacks compassion. The head nurse was good but some of the nurses didn't seem to care. We are very disappointed.
