There are different levels of care available for your loved one at Harmony at Martinsburg. My loved one doesn’t care for the food. We are pretty happy with our experience overall here.

We got in without any delay. Know that they don't have a dolly or anything available when you're moving in furniture. But everything else went fine. Our loved one has a nice room. The staff are very friendly. They've been good with any concerns, and they take good care of her. And I think the cost is fair.

Review ofSunrise of Frederick
5.0

My mom is very content at Sunrise of Frederick and says it feels like family. The staff are willing to listen to everybody and really helped us with the whole move in process. Staff are very accommodating, when I pick her up to go to appointments they always have her ready to go. They are great with communication as well and always call with any questions or concerns. The facility is pet friendly and she has had no problems at all having her cat here and it makes it feel more home like, her cat gets as much attention as she does! We would definitely recommend them to others looking.

A family-owned business, 2nd Family began in 2011 as a result of our own experience in searching for in-home care for our own loved one — our grandmother. Originally we started out needing someone during the day a few days a week. Then I needed someone in the evening a couple days a week as well. They weren't as able to take care of the evening shift. A couple of the people who were supposed to come didn't show. But Options as a company are very responsive. They really tried to work out that evening shift for us, but I ended up having to go to another agency for the evening shift. For the most part, my needs were satisfied with Options. It was only when I added an additional requirement that they couldn't accommodate, but it wasn't for lack of them trying. And I'm very satisfied with them. I kept them for the day shift. I've had two different caretakers. The first one was very good and stayed with us a long time. I considered her a family member. She was great with my loved one, she cooked, and she tried to get us on a healthy diet. It was good fit. The second person is very good as well, just different. Each person has different types of things they focus on. She calls us sir and ma'am. If she sees me going to the laundry, she says no sir, I'll take care of that. They've both been very good but have different skill sets.

They've been very good. My loved one gets along well with her caregiver. She's very responsible and very good at communicating. We've had no issues with them whatsoever. I know it's hard to find caregivers right now, and they found a good one for my loved one, so I've been very happy. She does a lot of driving and transportation for us currently, not necessarily much with personal care needs. But she's very flexible and willing to do whatever we need from her. We wish that she was vaccinated, but I think she has a health issue where she can't receive it. Overall their rates are very standard, if not a little better compared to others.
