We were not comfortable when we toured Yorkshire Village. It did not seem warm and friendly, the facility is really big. It just did not fit our needs or what we were looking for.
my mother is receiving excellent care at Yorkshire Village. they keep me updated as to my mother's needs and provide her with a high level of comfort and care. I am pleased with the high level of Yorksuires service and communitcation
We are very pleased with their sincerity and the care they're providing my loved one. The staff is very communicative, and very responsive when I need info or would like to Facetime my loved one. The community is clean, and everyone is very compassionate and caring. It's not the most beautiful place in the world. We viewed a lot of places that were really nice looking, but we felt most comfortable with Yorkshire because they didn't candy coat anything. They were honest and compassionate. And we are so pleased with them.
Our experience has been perfect, and there are absolutely no fowl smells anywhere inside the community. It is just the cleanest place and we are so happy. Wherever our loved one goes, there is always someone near by. We did think there was going to be a doctor on sight all the time but there is not which was our mistake, but the ladies and gentlemen there are just perfect.
I was desperately seeking assisted living for my 92yr old mother. Her current independent living place was not adequate for her as time moved on. Through A Place for Mom I found Yorkshire Village in Hemet, CA. From the very first phone call, the Administrator, [name removed], helped me get the process going and get her into their facility. I live over 1,000 miles away from Hemet, CA and Amelia was invaluable. Truly. Her kindness and can-do attitude made things happen quickly so that when I flew down to move my mom, things were already completed. (Doctor's exam and Okay to be admitted/TB testing, etc. that all had to be done before she could move in.) She kept me in the loop the entire time. [name removed], the head nurse, was compassionate and caring. She immediately had a calming effect on my mom. And me! She understood the anxiety of making choices like this for your mom. [name removed] and her staff have made my mom feel comfortable and welcomed. My mom's anxiety has nearly disappeared and I have actually been able to relax knowing she is in good hand. She is in a wing with only 5 other assisted living people and gets the attention she craves. I moved mom to Yorkshire Village in Hemet, CA on [date removed] and as of today, [date removed] it has been the best decision ever for my mom. I highly, highly recommend this place.
My mom seems to be happy at Yorkshire Village. The staff seems to be attentive. This my first experience with any type of Senior living for a family member so do not have much experience to pull from but things seem to be going well so far.
Yorkshire Village is a Sanctuary of Care... For your family member in need of daily assistance, I can not recommend Yorkshire Village enough. This assisted-living/ dementia care residence is located in Hemet, CA, not far from Temecula / Palm Springs. The environment is peaceful and serene, with quiet streets and greenery all around. The grounds are large. The main building is brightly lit, very clean, with big windows and very festive during the yearly holidays. Nice gardens and backyard are maintained very well. The Staff at Yorkshire Village is truly kind, caring and inspiring ! From the Administrator, Office Manager, Caregivers, Medic, Activities Manager -- ALL the staff -- truly understand what it takes to provide excellent care for their residents. I can not stress enough the genuine kindness and expertise the staff possess, and you will see for yourself when you visit. My relative has had dementia for some time, and after more than one year at Yorkshire, she continues to smile and show enthusiasm. She has a nurse visiting weekly. For medical appointments, Yorkshire provides shuttles as needed. My family searched much of Southern California and the Las Vegas area for assisted-living centers, and how lucky we were to find Yorkshire Village. Also, the monthly residence fees are very competitive for all the services offered. The staff of Yorkshire Village will provide your family member with kindness, professionalism and respect. I am certain that you will agree with me when your loved one's new home address is Yorkshire Village.
My only complaint is the food. It’s not always nutritious. The dinner time meal is the worst not always good. Breakfast and lunch is usually good.
In July, we place our Uncle with Alzheimer’s at Yorkshire. Everyone has been wonderful..Especially, [name removed], his primary caregiver. We are so relieved. He is so well taken care of! Great referral!!
My cousin would have been happy living here in the group housing, but the owners wanted to really raise the price because of her two cats. I thought the memory care area was quite depressing.
I toured Yorkshire House, but almost immediately, I knew that it wasn’t a good fit for me. It was a small community with only six or so residents. I felt that it was too small for me. I was looking for a larger place where I could get involved and be social while still maintaining my own independence and freedom.
Best support and care to loved ones ever. The staff is well trained and is caring. Residents requiring memory care and challenging and maintaining proper medical care is hard to do. Yorkshire staff works hard to do the best they care.
They do a really good job with my Mom at Yorkshire House. I like all of the caregivers. They are nice and helpful and they really seem to be concerned about the well being of the residents. The only concern I have is that they have cut back the hours on the van that takes the residents to Doctor's appointments. It is not as available as it used to be and it makes things a little difficult as far as appointments are concerned.
Things are going well. It's a good place. It's very clean inside and the care is absolutely wonderful.
We have been really happy with Yorkshire. It is a great place and things are going well. The facility is well maintained, clean and thankfully not too expensive. They do a marvelous job with communication. The administrator and staff are jewels and they really care about the residents and their families.
Things are going well. My husband has been happy there. He was non-verbal for awhile, but since he has been at Yorkshire, he has been talking. It is really amazing. For the most part, the caregivers are good at Yorkshire and he is getting good care there.
My mom needs Dementia care. Yorkshire house has been awesome in helping her and providing activities. She has already made friends and is participating in the programs.
She really likes it, they take good care of her there. They keep it very clean, at other places I always smell urine, and that's not the case here. She really likes the food. They have plenty of stuff to do, they have church services and outings. It really is a pretty good set up.
