White Orchid Guest Home
978 West 2nd Ave Escondido CA 92025
White Orchid Guest House is a residential care home in Escondido, CA in San Diego County, just northeast of downtown San Diego. One of the oldest cities in the county, Escondido occupies a shallow valley ringed by rocky hills. Our residents find plenty of entertainment in the community, including boating and fishing in one of the town's three lakes, several parks and a zoo safari park. Hours spent at the public library reveal the rich history of the area through collections, photographs, oral histories and yearbooks. Downtown is lively with restaurants, cafes and art galleries, band concerts and a weekly antique car show.
Our caregivers treat our residents to personalized assistance that meets their needs, such as help with dressing or showering, while encouraging each senior to live as independently as possible. Our staff strives to provide a caring, safe and secure home to each resident so they live comfortably with dignity. A medical center is nearby in case of sudden illness or emergencies.
Our cozy group home setting offers lovely outdoor views, a big screen TV and a crackling fireplace for cool California nights. We also offer amenities such as:
- Home-cooked meals
- Medication management
- Incontinence care
- Laundry and housekeeping chores
White Orchid Guest House is an ideal bridge for seniors who wish some assistance with daily tasks, but crave the freedom to come and go as they please. We are happy to meet these needs in a vibrant and stimulating neighborhood environment.

White Orchid Guest Home Reviews
- Such Great Care Here
The move went smoothly for my grandmother, The people who care for her are extra helpful. They take care of her like she is part of the family. We had a great experience with the home. It was an easy transition...
They are clean and do a nice job. The only problem is the staff does not speak much English. There is a language barrier that makes it hard to understand the staff.
