This is a wonderful place to live, and I think you would be happy here. The staff are very friendly and still it is a fairly new community. It feels like a family, as it is a newer community and we aren't fully occupied yet. Housekeeping, changing of the linens, meals, room and more are included in the monthly fee. Some of the activities available are movies, bingo, card games, outdoor activities, and more for the residents to choose from. There isn't a bus driver so we can't use the transportation, I'm hopeful this will change soon. Each room is equipped with a washer and dryer in the unit and a full kitchen.... Read more

We like the facilities here, they are newer and clean. We also like the kind demeanor of the staff members. However they could work to better their communication specifically regarding medication and health care in general. They also could improve their communication throughout the community.

We chose Westmont of Milpitas because they were a brand new facility and also the location was very good for us. When we toured, the staff were all very professional. I knew what to look for since I had been through this experience not long ago with another family member and I was very impressed with them. Based on our experience, though it was short, I would recommend them to others.
We think it's a very nice place. It has a lot of amenities, and they have special events regularly. Every Thursday they have a happy hour, and they schedule events for the families to attend as well. I think they're really working hard to keep people happy. The staff is very friendly, and most of the residents are as well. Mom tells me the food is pretty good. We really like that if you end up needing assisted living down the road, you don't have to move to another apartment, which was not the case anywhere else that we looked. You also have a choice of a studio, 1-bedroom, or 2-bedroom apartment. And her 1-bedroom is very roomy.
