Westminster community is very nice, it is in a nice neighborhood, our loved one can walk around outside safely. We are very happy with our decision. The activities are back to normal which has made our loved one very happy. The only improvement they could work on would be the food, the quality is not good, they need to make home cooked meals.
The staff is so thoughtful and looks after me better than family. I don't want to ever have to go anywhere else.
[name removed] has been our first contact with the company. She is very warm and caring. This place would not be the same without her.
The community is a nice, friendly, and homey place. I would recommend this community to others
Spending my remaining years here in this Community was the best decision I could ever have made. My kitty, "Neva" and I have made many new, good friends and we are very happily enjoying all the ammenities offered - from in-house Therapy to Crafts and (of course) the Parties. And the food? .. m-m-m, can't be beat! AND we have a wonderful Staff! We are SO happy, happy, happy..... ......Thanx to all.
This community is mostly independent living, but care services are good. They have bingo, chair exercises, they do chair badminton with balloons. They have games, as well as arts and crafts. The food is great, they have a lot of different options for the residents. This community has a good dining hall, overall layout is great. They don't have any noise complaints. Something that really stood out to us was the friendliness of the staff.
I think [name removed]is our biggest asset that woman works her butt off and there’s always smiling pleasant word for everybody You got to do better in the food department Too much rent and too many sandwiches
The new manager is great so FAR! For the first time, I received an email of what was happening with my Mom and where she is living. She likes living there. The only complaint I really have is I would like to see the cleaning of the apartments to be a bit better, especially, the bathrooms.
This is our home! Been here over 2.5 years. They try very hard to make our lives comfortable - meals, shuttle bus, free cable, etc., etc.
My brother and his family are all very pleased with Westminster and the staff. We find all of the staff to be kind and caring. Everyone at Westminster goes above and beyond what is needed to make my brother and his family feel safe, confident and comfortable there. We find Westminster to be well organized with daily activities and entertainment to keep the residents there involved in social activities. Overall, we have all been very please with Wesminster.
My mom who is 93 moved in to Westminster in February and is loving it there. The staff is wonderful and the food is great. They work hard to accommodate individual needs and treat residents with great respect. She has bus transportation to doctor appointments and shopping if she likes. My husband and I went for dinner at Easter and had a beautiful time. It is considered independent living with the ability to have assistance through in house home care which makes the cost much less. The only problem we’re having is the in trying to get VA assistance, they don’t recognize this way of doing things as the same as assisted living and we’re waiting to see if they accept it. Other than that, we highly recommend this wonderful facility.
great location, fantastic facility
Residents appeared to be engaged and happy; seems like a great community for those that are independent; was waiting for a quote for care but the person never came back
Be careful. There are no provisions in contract if person has to be moved to a different facility based on doctors assessment. Our mom moved into this facility and less than a month later had to move into an assisted living facility. Management was unwilling to break the lease because making an exception would be "BAD for BUSINESS". So we are forced to pay an additional two months of rent!
So far, so good for our experience with the community. My mom's care is going well and the staff are doing good with her too.
This is a great community, and my mother is doing very well since her move here. She has adjusted very well to it, and everything is working out very well. We are comfortable with her move to this community. We know she is safe, and in a good community. Overall if mom is happy, everyone is happy. All is well for my mother at this community.
This is a lovely community, and we were very pleased with all they did for us. My brother in law was adjusting very well to it. He met a few new friends, and was really enjoying his time here. I even told my husband I would like to move here when I get older, it is a very nice place. We are hoping once he gets better he can return to this community.
It took a little while for my brother in law to adjust to the move about a week or so, but he is doing fine. The staff is very helpful and nice I've no problems with them. I've gone to eat lunch with him a few times and the food there is just wonderful. It was difficult at first but things are getting better.
I have really been impressed by the people, they have been great so far. The food is okay, it's not terrible, but not the best you ever had either. This was hands down my first choice of the places I toured.
The staff here is so nice and accommodating. They are willing to go above and beyond to help us. Another thing that stands out is the place is always so spotless. They do a great job here. Communication is great. The food is also pretty good.
