Apathetic

My parent had been a resident at Villa De Anza for 4 years. During 2020 he and the other residents were separated due to COVID but he still got it. The staff were then afraid of getting it so they would not respond to his calls for help to the toilet, need of food/water or general assistance. He died. It's not just that they were afraid but that they didn't care. They were more interested in our family cleaning out his room to make way for another victim.

my review

My mom does not like the food but that has to do with covid, the staff is very friendly but are overworked and understaffed. They have done a good job with their covid plan and they have steps in place to prevent covid.

my experence

I was supposed to move in but was not able to. I was told that the money that we gave them for the first month would be refunded and it was not. They stopped taking out calls and we never did receive our refund.
