I would highly recommend the Timberwood Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Place is clean. My Mom is very well taken care of. The place now has a dog, which my Mom likes a lot.

Located in a residential area (Country Grove Neighborhood), Timberwood Lodge was opened in 2018 - within walking distance of restaurants, pharmacies, and shopping districts. Timberwood Lodge Assisted Living & Memory Care is the sole location owned and operated by the Bachmann family. I would highly recommend the Timberwood Lodge Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Place is clean. My Mom is very well taken care of. The place now has a dog, which my Mom likes a lot.

Caring Community
The facility is well cared for. The staff is good. I know they struggle like all facilities right now in getting good workers. My brother is lactose intolerant and they do a good job of providing him with food he can eat and enjoy. I feel timberwood has been a good fit for my brother and would recommend it.I think the fact that the owner and his family are routinely on site taking care of things makes a difference in the quality of the facility.

I would basically give a 5 for all the categories except for activities. As far as I know there has only been one outing since my brother got there in [date removed]. And of course I wish they had more staff, but I realize everyone is struggling in that aspect.

JUST IN TIME AT TIMBERWOOD!
My mother's stay at Timberwood Assisted Living was a positive experience made possible by a caring administrator, owner, a caring nurse, and a caring, rotating staff. They all made Mom feel at home, and they truly bent over backwards to accommodate Mom's needs and requests. For example, when they heard that Mom loved BINGO, a staff member went out of her way to provide BINGO games. Also, the facility's hands on approach to care was helpful in spotting immediate health concerns, which were then related to me and health officials outside of the facility. I appreciate all of the extra effort that Timberwood displayed in caring for my mother. Thanks so much, Timberwood Lodge!!

AMAZING place
When the time came to find mom a facility to care for her advanced age and dementia, it was heartbreaking. Dad died in a nursing home, so we were familiar with how "institutional" they can feel. Timberwood Lodge was Heaven sent. They are a family of individuals who care for each other. Owner, [name removed] , administrator, [name removed], the aides, the nurse, and all of the residents - AMAZING! We recently lost mom, but while she was at Timberwood and in their care, she felt at home (we actually moved in her own furniture so everything stayed familiar to her!). They provide excellent, personalized care, wonderful meals, trips and activities for the resident and their family, and a warm, safe, home-like environment. Hands-down, if you are looking for a facility for a loved-one, this is the place.

Very Homey Experience
I am a current resident and I think this place is very nice. I like the food and that we grill out so often. This last summer I was able to plant vegetables in the garden boxes and tend to them. I look forward to doing that again next summer. I think the home is kept very clean and I receive good care here.

Great Care and Homelike Setting
They really focus on the individual needs and interests of each resident. They go above and beyond to offer a homelike setting, but also include little luxuries, such as dining out, boating and other fun outings. The care team is very helpful and kind.
