We offer 63 apartments that are a combination of studio, one and two bedroom apartments for assisted living residents and 20 apartments in our brand-new Reflections neighborhood for older adults with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
In addition to new lighting, paint and flooring throughout the community, we have updated all apartments with granite countertops, new micro-fridge/freezer/microwave combinations, new walk-in showers, fixtures and a combination of hardwood and carpeting. Also, we've added bistro and private dining room and created a new entrance to the community and a spacious secured outdoor courtyard for our Reflections neighborhood.
We are excited to be collaborating with McLean Hospital, The Center for Brain/Mind Medicine and The Center for Alzheimer's Research and Treatment at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, which enables us to provide the best in purposeful programming and lifestyle interventions to promote healthy cognitive and brain aging throughout our community. It also empowers us to have our finger on the pulse of advancements in dementia treatment, new diagnostic techniques, and innovative non-pharmacological interventions and programming initiatives. As well, we will have access to their clinicians and their studies, provide the community-at-large and family members with educational opportunities, and conduct specialized employee training.
Our residents experience the peace of mind knowing that our Residential Care Associates are just a step away to provide support anytime during the day or night. Also, our Resident Care Director ensures a personalized care plan is created and monitored for each resident with the goal of keeping them strong and healthy for years to come.
